    Did not know that. Corrected.

I got these a year ago, when the deal wasn't going..........thus why they are only good till the end of Oct(all the gift certs are good for a year from purchase). Obviously if i bought them recently, i wouldn't be trying to get rid of them(actually have time to go to the restaurants over the course of a year, as opposed to a month.)

I recently found a bunch of Gift Certificates to Restaurants around Milwaukee, while cleaning out my room. They are all $25 off any $35 purchase. The only problem is they are only good thru 10/30/2009. I just don't eat out enough to justify using all of them, so i'm putting them up here. I paid $10 each for them, so how does $4 each sound(also open to offers)? Just wanna recoup some of the cost. The Resturants are: 5 x Painted Parrot(excludes alcohol, void on Fridays) 1 x Palms Bistro(dine-in only) Basically any kind of payment works for me, paypal is fastest, but M.O.s, checks ect work just fine. EDIT: Removed Edgars, and lowered the price.

I do the same thing with Whisky and Peaches. I mix peaches, some peach nectar, and whisky in a small mason jar, let it sit for a few months, and YUM. Get a good buzz just off the peaches, and the "juice" left over is awesome.

Cameron wants to stay here, and i would love to see him stay. I consider him at his current price a discount. If he's willing to sign for that, i'm in. Besides, who else will we have play Center next year? Maybe Cain if he hadn't had the injuries. But as of right now, we have nobody that i can think of.

I think it's impressive anytime a small market like Milwaukee can produce that kind of attendance. Very well done milwaukee.

If anybody got a screw job, it was Mark A, for having to pay Hardy 4.65 million dollars for the lack of production this year. JJ was given the chance to rebound(much longer than he should have been IMO), he never did. He has no one to blame about this than himself.

    1. He's a Kennedy, right or wrong, that gives him extra coverage. 2. The guy served for 47 years. He was THE leader of his party in the senate for atleast the last 30 years. Politicians like that don't come along very often.

You didn't hear? Doug placed his Stache on waivers yesterday, just hasn't cleared yet. I heard Theo Epstein might claim it, but i would expect Doug to pull it back if that happens(no way could he get decent trade value from Theo).

I'm glad others have said Josh Gibson. I would have loved to see him play. After him i would watch the 27 yankees, and the 57 braves in the world series.

RIP I think we all knew the end was coming soon when he wasn't well enough to attend his sister's funeral. He put up one hell of a fight to survive over a year with a brain tumor.

Agreed. Unfortunately i have to drive about 40 mins to my nearest woodmans.

It seems to be more of a promo than a real thread. No real discussion(if you noticed basically an identical thread was started by pudster about some guy named bartelli). i smell a rat.

I forget what it stands for, but it is the company(IIRC) that made the bobbleheads that were sold at Miller Park the first few years it was open. They are pretty hard to find nowadays. I had a sexson AGP myself, but traded it when i stopped collecting bobbles.

weird indeed, but i think he will be fine(anybody notice the tear he has been on since the all star break?).

I'd like to see what the kid has. We could really use the new blood.

Good luck with raising the money(i'll be putting a bid or two in). With the economy the way it is, it sucks that programs like yours are being cut.

I like taking people who have never been there before, but that's about the only time i go. Still, it's a fun place every now and then, but i won't go there more than 2-3 times a year(at most).
  22. berniebrewer4life
i started out on the ESPN and brewers.com boards, but they drove me over here years ago(back in march of 04 i think). i haven't looked back yet. Once you get used to the quality of people/threads here, you never go back.

I had a lot of success when i asked about KC a few weeks ago, so i thought i would hit you guys up again for ideas for my east coast trip. Hitting up games in boston and pitt the next ten days, wondering if you guys know any "must see" things to do in those towns.
