I think legends of the field have em.

I Agree. I was lucky enough to watch him pitch in the mid 90s, and boy, was he a treat to watch. That guy put on a clinic every time he pitched.

Paul White of USA Today was on XM radio and he mentioned that the Sox and Brewers are in some heavy talks about Jenks... What would we have to give up to get him?
  4. berniebrewer4life
Yes, but they were actually cub fans. Or atleast that is what i have heard from folks in chicago.

"Splitting time between the Class AA and AAA levels in 2008, Swindle was 3-1 with a 1.53 ERA in 38 games, with eight walks and 67 strikeouts in 53 innings." Not bad. I'm kinda shocked his curve is only 55mph. With a decent fastball that could be crazy. Hopefully this guy is another melvin steal.

The guy has been there less than 2 months and you are already calling him better than DM? Let's see who he signs as free agents/trades for before we make that call.

Netflix is great on 360, anybody make a new avatar yet? It is very disappointing for me, like a poor man's Mii(your Wii character for those who don't know). VERY limited options, so i ended up just making a rollie fingers lookalike

Wow, shouse just missed out on being a type A.

I expect ti will either be Wood/Hoffman or another bullpen signing on Nov 20th.

a Shotgun would take care of that problem.

Nice find. I think the coolest thing there was the Minor League Brewers jersey.

Gantner is always behind the scenes at Miller. Atleast he was before he became a coach again.

Is she still gonna do ESPN milwaukee radio?

You pretty much nailed it. When i was an usher, we usually threw out 3 times more cub fans than brewer fans then. It wasn't because we disliked them, it's just he law of avgs. If there are more cub fans, there will be more cub fans thrown out.

Looks like old gold to me, similar to what purdue uses.
  19. berniebrewer4life

Anybody else notice the changes they made to the website today? According to their website, it's faster loading, and a better search engine. I like it, i think having the catagories up top is easier to navigate in.

I'd lilke to see all the division championships honored(yea, both of em), as well as this year's achievements. Leave out the word "champions" for the WC appearence, and just have it say, 2008 WC, is fine by me.
