Nitpicking here, yes, but let's not give the manager too much credit for this. This really should be Ned's Motto. Ned Yost: We'll never give ya credit for anything.
  2. berniebrewer4life
Same here. While i don't expect this to get Rockies/Marlins bad, this could be a high scoring game at the end.

    Hooray Bill Hall!
  4. berniebrewer4life
Is there any doubt that we need CC now?
  5. berniebrewer4life
problem seems to be fixed for me too. Hooray!

The Red Birds get 2 in the 6th as Rick Ankiel Homers, Pujols doubles(then steals third) and scores off of a ryan ludwick double. Going into the 7th, it's tied up 2-2.

Depends on if they are doing a 2 year rebuilding plan, or a 5 year one. If it's a longer plan, there is no reason for them to keep him on thier roster, when they can keep building more minor league talent that will be ready in time for the 5 year plan.

    Theriot singles in a run(men now on 1st and 2nd), it's now 2-0 in the 5th.

What do you think it would take to get Broxton? Obviously much less than Laporta/Gamel, but would we have to give up a salome type player?
  10. berniebrewer4life
Yea, i would just call the ticket office and have them reprint them, and leave em at will call. i've done that before when i lost some of my season tickets.
  11. berniebrewer4life
The third one doesn't have a Message board on it. that's why i didn't include it.
  12. berniebrewer4life
Cubs lead the Cards 1-0 in the 3rd off a DeRosa Homer.
  13. berniebrewer4life
Here's to hopin Bush has another great game. I think we should light up Maholm, concidering he is a lefty.
  14. berniebrewer4life
My guess is maple. If it were Prince or Holliday who splintered it, maybe ash.
  15. berniebrewer4life
Any moment. I actually don't think it's gonna happen today. I think maybe sunday or monday, closer to our deadline.
  16. berniebrewer4life
I've found 2 with message boards. The Clevelandfan The Tribe 24/7

Its not Broxton being talked about being traded for Wilson. It is Broxton being traded for Sabathia. Then who are they offering for Wilson?? I donno if they have offered anything yet, but the pirates are asking for basically the same deal the Dodgers are offering for CC.
  18. berniebrewer4life
I agree on both points. Infact, i might like Greinke a little more than Sabathia, simply because we would control him for several years.
  19. berniebrewer4life
Thanks BrewCrew, i didn't know much about bentacourt. That calms my nerves a little.
  20. berniebrewer4life
Twobrewers, that's not a bad idea, but can Hardy play 3rd?
  21. berniebrewer4life
Series, i could deal with that trade. I don't know much about gutierrez, but losing villanueva would really hurt our BP.
  22. berniebrewer4life
I drive thru columbus every time i go to my farm in Sumter Co. I'd love to be able to catch a game every now and then.
  23. berniebrewer4life
Ugh, of course this game is at 1pm(right when i go to work). Oh well, happy 4th everybody!

This post basically sums up my feelings. Everybody here is worried about the future. Well, i think this might be our best shot in a while to make the playoffs, and i'd like to see us get there and do something. If this move happens, we have 5 picks in the first 35, that's more than enough to get us some more quality bats/arms if we need em.
