1 in 700,000. Getting killed by it is 2,320,000 to 1. Man, i feel for his family. You never expect someone to go this way.

Because we remember a tv show we grew up loving(granted, for me it was reruns in the 80s) and are hoping for the best. Same with the Indiana Jones movie. That looks to me like a movie that will do well in the box office, but not be that great.

Depending on the deal we got, sure. I think if sheets gets us a few very good players who could make an impact next year, i think they pull the trigger.

Brian had some feelers out that day IIRC...... any word yet Brian?
  5. berniebrewer4life
That did cross my mind as well.

I'm just gonna assume it's Gagne, but this is weird that they would wait.
  7. berniebrewer4life
I wasn't expecting it to be great, just better than it was.

Just win baby, it's all about the W.

Hooray, fake rally time! I think braun gets a single(to load the bases) and prince strikes out.

Please let jeffress finally be taking his career seriously. I would hate for him to waste it away in the minors.
  11. berniebrewer4life
    My thoughts as well.

Call me sexist, but i feel both Hockey and Football are too physical of sports. Baseball maybe, but not the other two IMO.

Ebert gave it 3.5 stars today. That seems about right. not horrible, but not great either.

If we can get anything near a quality start from Bush, we should win.

Just got back from it, and boy am i pissed. IMO Lucas messed up another movie from a great line of movies. It had some great parts to it. They stayed true to the Indy style of filming for the most part, and there were some great lines. However, there was no character development(not even with the new characters), not much plot, VERY little action and the ending. Oh lord the ending... Spoiler below in white text: Aliens George, really? Freakin Aliens? How dare you sir. I waited almost 20 years for this. Ugh, atleast Get Smart is coming out in a month.

I'm so pissed off at George Lucas for the new Indy movie, it's rediculous.

    Full no trade clause.

Same here. I don't like karaoke in bars, i sure as heck don't want to watch it on tv.
  19. berniebrewer4life
Well, part of me doesn't want them to win it, however i would also like to hear them shut up about the 100 year thing, and lose the lovable losers tag.
  20. berniebrewer4life
To a point i do. I mean, if i read something on here about a trade(outside of the rumors area of course) i pretty much take it as truth. I think the guys who run this site pride themselves on being pretty accurate about this stuff.

Unless i move out of state next year, i'm renewing.

Wouldn't he have more lactic acid built up in his upper legs due to over working them?
  23. berniebrewer4life
The diference is that this guy can have the arms, core, and upper leg strength of other runners but be lighter due to his situation. That is certainly an advantage. He gets all the strength that the other runners do without all the weight. He's lighter, but he is also missing the muscles used in his calf to run, so his upper legs are doing the work of both the calves and the upper leg. It's probably a draw or even a disadvantage at this point.
  24. berniebrewer4life
Man, Braun is just raking right now. Too bad we can't take advantage lately.

JS online now says the 2nd game won't be broadcast in WI.
