How about a few homers...and a nice, leisurely "one flap down" trot around the bases. Maybe Braun hits one and just stands there admiring it. I'd rather continue to humiliate them instead of firing bullets at each others head.

TV tonight (WMLW)

On DirecTV Extra Innings, they show the Brewers feed on 736. It's only in SD. There usually is not a Brewers Live with it...not sure if there is on WMLW and they just don't carry it or they don't actually do one. Pirates feed is 735 with 735-1 in HD. -
I'm hoping cooler heads prevail tonight. Yes they drilled our best player, but if we start drilling their guys they'll come back and next thing we know guys will get hurt. The Pirates will be out of it soon enough while the Crew will be fighting for a playoff spot. It's not like we have games to give to prove a point. Braun sent them enough of a message through the press...if they don't get it after that, then send in Seth and the 98 MPH rib-buster. It's the Pirates for gosh sake. They might as well be a AAA team the way we slap them around. Let's just go 14-1 against them again...that will be the best revenge. We got rid of Mr. "Irrational Baseball Macho Man Don't Mess With the Family" Yost for a reason. The way he ended 2007 was an embarrassment. I don't want to see us go down that road again.

There's always been a little edge in this series since Capps and Fielder went at it...that and we've made them our personal punching bag over the last year. I'd rather not see us go down the Yostian baseball machismo route and just keep slapping them around. Pretty solid quote from Braun though.

I agree with that on Nelson...he is really pressing. Coming off the bench cold is a tough gig if you haven't done it before. I wonder as well if a few weeks of regular ABs in Nashville couldn't hurt.

I like this today. JJ could use a day off. He's scuffling. I think he got frustrated after hitting the ball hard right at people early. Remember last year when he took a couple days off to work on the shoulder last year...he came back on a tear. Nelson needs some ABs. He was so antsy to get that first hit the other night he looked horrible. A good 4 AB day is what he needs. Concentrate Manny...concentrate...you can do this.

The first 4 innings were driving me nuts too. They were hitting Hampton well, but couldn't break through. So glad they won that crazy game...it would've been very disheartening to drop that one.

C'mon Crew...let's actually win a gravy day!!! I sure like booking a winning road trip, but 6-3 would be even better. Good start from Manny would be awesome.

This has been the weirdest game of the year. Brewers have seemed snake bit from the beginning. Not feeling good the deeper they get into our pen.
