Cam's stats certainly argue for the contract he got. It would be nice to bring him back again next year, but he may be looking for one last multi-year contract. That may be tough for the Crew with all the arby raises coming. Aside from the stats, Cam seems to be a high quality person who is a real leader on the team. While some vets have done better than others, Melvin has done a good job of bringing in quality veteran people to the clubhouse. The team has a great vibe and quite a bit of camaraderie. We could argue as to how much that matters, but I think it does at the margin and it definitely make them easier to root for. -

That last pitch to Braun was filthy. Only way out was to guess slider and lay off...not easy when it looks like a fastball.

I'll never forget the look on Schoenweis' face after he gave up that HR to Wes Helms last year. I love that guy.

Kendall has kept that D from last year. He may not hit his weight...but he is quick on his feet with those throws.

No doubt...if he can keep it to 3 solo shots in 6 innings, we're there. Although it sure would be nice to get another inning out of him.

16-12 looks like the reasonable guess. I'm glad we're coming out of April with at least a .500 record. That was one of our toughest stretches of schedule for the year.

Could McGehee carry them over for a couple weeks? Kendall would start every game anyway even if Corporan comes up. Maybe they could use an arm to make sure the pen stays fresh.

I hope they enjoyed getting slapped around by Gallardo...they get him again on Monday. Karstens vs. Gallardo...now that will be fun to watch. -
Just caught the Gallardo HR on the At-Bat app...man, that was a no doubter on an 0-2 pitch. ElCaballo said it best...we are not worthy!!!
