Feeling like a walk off Wednesday.

Good lord Roenicke...are you watching the same game I am???
-
Nice bullpen effort the last 2 nights...yeesh.
-
Have to hand it to Cappy...he took advantage of a wide strike zone and some jumpy hitters and nailed his spots. Change up guys seem to be a tough matchup for us. On the plus side...that's still 20/27 and they can go home and get a good night sleep, Lucroy had a decent night after struggling on the road, Gomez shows he has value even when stinking at the plate and how about Marcum...the guy had nothing tonight yet somehow got through 6 scoreless...that's some serious grit (and not some Jason Kendall type grit...think John Wayne). Back at it tomorrow Brewerfan.

Impatient hitter vs. Change up specialist...not a good matchup for Crew
-
That may set a record for slowest human to ever bat leadoff. If we played them in interleague we could match them by having Casey or Prince hit first for us...or maybe one of the racing sausages.

I'd go: Morgan #2, Hart #5, McG #6, Luc/Yuni #7 and Yuni/Nieves v. RHP Hart #2, McG #5, Luc/Yuni #6, Yuni/Gomez #7 and Gomez/Nieves #8 v. LHP Kotsay in between Luc & Yuni vs. RHP if Hart really needs a blow...but I'd rather see him out there every day.

It is a requirement that Brewers pitchers know how to hit. -

Come sara' Chris Carpenter spiegare questo a suo figlio? -
I have no problem with what Albert did...dude just hit two walkoffs in a row, that's huge. However, if that was Prince the Classies would be in full meltdown mode. Don Tony would pull out the unwritten rulebook and start beaning everyone on the Crew, in the stands, a few reporters and maybe a couple local high schools just to make sure they got the message.

I'd stick with Narveson. He is a perfectly adequate 5th starter. He was in a groove earlier, now he's not. No reason to think Estrada would be any different. Marco has been a good addition to the pen and will probably be pressed back into service sooner or later with any injuries. I'm not sure a change gets you much.

This will be the toughest test of the series...their #2 (#1 without JJ) vs. our struggling #5. I have no problem with this lineup. CC has a better shot of getting something going and plays good D...Wilson can't be much worse that Yuni.

Plush crush...sweet.

Big meltdown in Cincy today...they were up 7-2 on Dodgers...now down 11-7 in 11th. Their bullpen is a mess.

NyjMo says I hear your boos and see your meatball!!!

Yo not a mystery tonight to Marlins...gotta battle through. If Volstad throws what he did to Casey & Luc...we'll get our shots.

Former Brewer Bill Hall released
SoCal Brew Crew Fan replied to kilgore37's topic in Milwaukee Brewers Talk
If only they did this before Mother's Day... ...although maybe we could use him against the Reds. -
I have to say that I really dislike the Marlins. Yeah, they have good young players and seem to draft and develop well...that's cool...but it really gets to me that this awful non-existent fanbase got to win not one, but two World Series. What a waste of pure joy and excitement on one of the worst sports towns in the country.

Prince seemed to get thrown when he dropped down on strike two. I thought lefties only started.
-
Nice inning...didn't see that coming
-
Is anyone even warming up? Isn't Nieves in there for defense? Kind of a dribbler, but Kotsay was right on the money.
-
At least the pen is rested. 5 would be nice from Wolf...but that's looking optimistic.
-
Glad RR has embraced the NyjMo platoon...he should always start vs. RHP. This would've been the perfect night for Lucroy to start with Wolf. I get he needs a day off out of 5 so normally a Wolf day is as good as any, but if they do need to work together at some point, there's no Braun and we're coming off an off day he should be out there.
