    Ya, I was going to say, they've been taking extra bases a lot it seems. Sounds like BA sometimes gets surprised, "oh he's going for three!" I love it! Also seems to be more small ball tatctics going on like squeeze bunts and so on. I know it's spring and they are trying to see what they got but I really do enjoy it!

    Hey guys thanks for your input. I've heard that magic jack is not all it's cracked up to be and the pop up adds get old in a hurry. There are just so many options out there that it's hard to narrow them down. I do think that magic jack is not the best option from what I've gathered so far. Does anyone use any VOIP services? Vonage etc. Is Skype considered a VOIP? Sorry I'm kind of new to all this terminology.

    Not sure if any of this has been discussed but I need to get a phone line for work. Looking for some feedback on any of these options. I would love the mobility of Magic jack and Skype but really am nervous about their reliability. I suppose when I'm on the road I can use my cell phone but that could eat up a lot of minutes in a hurry (I will not be on the road a ton, but like the idea of mobility). Thanks in advance for any help.

    I admidt I was fired up last night when I first read this. Like what the heck is he thinking. But then I thought, if this is something he likes to do to stay in shape I guess we can't blame him. He's not doing anything that's super crazy. I'm just a little worried right now that he will have some lingering going on that could effect him longer. I really hope this is as minor as they say. I think the whole argument of this race could come down to 2 games is kind of bogus. It's all about where you are at in the last two months and how you play then. Yes I know every game counts but you have to play well down the stretch no matter what. That is the key.

    Can I ask what is wrong with him bunting? I know we always say, he's got the tools, but he really does. I'm not expecting anything from him, but I really do think you can teach plate discipline enough to give a player a boost. I also think you can teach a guy not to swing for the fences, to some extent. So with those two things being his biggest faults I do think there is still room to improve. He really does have to be humble and forget all his natural instincts of swinging at everything and swinging for the fences. But if this kid can fight those urges and use the bat speed he is blessed with, I really don't see why he can't improve. I'm not sure why he gets such a bad rap for his attitude. I for one believe it's never been an attitude thing as much as a pride thing. I believe he's always been told he would be amazing and thought he could do things his way all the way up to the bigs. I believe his attitude is good, he seems to play hard every game and really seems to want to win. He's firey but I don't think he's got a bad attitude. He really does need to swallow his pride here but I do think he can still improve at leat to a respectable level. Kids fun to watch on the base paths and with his glove and arm, that is for sure.

    Happy for Gomez but every time he hits one it makes me nervous. Now I think he gets that little seed planted in the back of his head, maybe I still can hit for power...... Good to hear Yo was dealing!

    I don't think you can compare Braun and Law Dog. Braun shows arrogance and backs it up. It's usually in a subtle way, bat flip, stare, etc. I don't think there are too many players out there that bother me that do that (unless they are on the Vikings or something). PrinceEatMeat summed it up perfectly with the picture and comment, he's a choad hammer. Now I think the problem is that he's coming right from high school. It's not an excuse but it shows you he's immature right now. There are plenty of guys that have come out right from high school that know they are going to be pros and know they have to act a certain way (Bryce Harper). I have no problem with players being arrogant as long as they back it up. They have to know that the more they put themselves in the spotlight the more they are going to hear it from opposing fans. If they are fine with it and they aren't disrecpecting their teamates and coaches then go on wichya bad self. Competition between the lines makes people do silly things and that's ok. Just be a pro off the field! I really hope that Marcum ends up being really good so we don't have to worry about what Lawrie does. I personally am glad he's on another team. Would I have put up with him on our team if he was killing it, yes. But my opinion of him right now is not a good one.

    Here's my understanding. If you buy mlb.tv you obviously get the games video and audio on your computer. Now if you buy the At Bat app for your iphone (that's my only experience but I know it's on other devices) you will now be able to access all video and audio. You do have to pay for the at bat app though. If you don't have mlb.tv and you buy the At Bat app you get all the audio but no video except their "free game of the day." So the only thing that links between the two is the video access. I didn't buy audio for my computer last year and just used my phone and that was great.

    It's for the whole year. I had it for iPhone last year and loved it. I would say you don't need audio on your computer if you have it on your phone, but that's just me. As for video, they give you one free game a day. My understanding is that if you have mlb.tv and you buy this app you also get all the games in video. Same goes for iPad. It's a great app and I suggest it to anyone.

    Anyone experience what happens when you move after you start your subscription? I'm moving to Cincy in the next few months and am going to be getting MLB.tv for the first time this year. I'm really excited! I would like to watch the twins (I'm currently in MN) as well from time to time and just wondering if I will be able to watch their games once I move. If your internet speed is good enough is the picture pretty close to HD? I'd also like to hear anyone's experience with the iPad. It looks like it would be a lot of fun to watch games on!

    There is no way Ron is going to throw a guy under the bus. He can't. And yes, he probably know's he's not very good but there's nothing he can do about it right now. He's got to defend him and the team right now so all of you who'd like to hear otherwise will have to chill out of a bit.
