For like 3 days prior to the switch Yost was adamant that he was leaving Braun and Fielder as is. They asked to be moved and that's the only reason he was willing to make the change. Yost said on multiple occasions that Braun was going to get more time to settle in. I'm thinking Ryan and Prince were hoping he'd see it wasn't working and when Yost publicly said he wasn't going to change it, they took matters into their own hands. Ned doesn't get credit for the change.

Ryan's impatience at the plate can't be blamed on Ned. I'm no Yost-lover, but Braun's inability to handle the pressure of the sophomore slump isn't his fault.

Even Ned can't ignore Bill going GIDP, K, GIDP, K while Corey's like 7-for-10, right?

Plus, we've all been just waiting for this season to start. That's a lot of buildup.

So you prefer watching Bucks games instead of Brewers games this year? that is just silly . Valid point. I hate the NBA, but I get what you're saying. But man, having so much faith makes each of these games so heart-breaking. It's hard to remember it's a long season when you're in the middle of these games.

I sometimes feel like I'd be ok with us being a crappy team because then there would be no expectations. It's this tearing down of the hope that is so heart-wrenching.

    I lied.

    Riske is my hero!!!

Because Ned Yost has not yet learned how to learn. Spectacular!
  10. tristarscoop
Maybe because he's pitching a decent game. Three hits and two runs last inning and now a walk here, I don't think I would have put him back out. Fielding is keeping him in this game.

It's possible that they're trying to figure out and even out Prince's diet with the veggie thing. I'm sure he's mowing protein shakes, etc... to make up for the lack of meat.

WHY IS DAVE BUSH STILL OUT THERE!?!?!?
  13. tristarscoop
It's the Kevin Mench approach to batting. Mench wouldn't even really get in his stance til the second pitch. He'd be upright with the bat chillin' on his shoulder.

I think I'd rather have had Corey hit, instead of HBP

    GD, Bill Hall

I feel like I'm listening to "Deep Thoughts" with Bill and Brian.
  17. tristarscoop
Did Bill just say Prince should leave hitting homeruns up to Billy Hall? !!!!!!!!!!
  18. tristarscoop
That was the creepiest hairy close-up of Pujols' hand!

And I want to know why Bush is still in that game. BUT CRAZY JOE DILLON IS THE MAN!
  20. tristarscoop
Ok pitcher in the 8th spot haters, here you go....
  21. tristarscoop
Crazy Joe Dillon talking off on that one!
  22. tristarscoop
    K it is!
  23. tristarscoop
    Strikeout or foul-pop-up-out?
  24. tristarscoop
Bill says Rickie looks a lot better defensively this year than he did at this time last year. He had nowhere to go but up!!
  25. tristarscoop
    I don't think it's a soundbyte, I think that's someone in the stands!
