  1. Tristan Archer has been pretty darn impressive this year. I wonder if he'll eventually get a shot w/ the Brewers bullpen.
  2. I love this team just as much or more than our previous playoff teams. They are so exciting to watch, and we have so much depth in our lineup. Now let's get Guerra back, bring up Espino and keep on winning!!
  3. With Guerra coming back soon, and Espino and Woodruff dominating in AAA, I'd like to see them try to upgrade the staff and bp internally. Or just keep trying new guys that were DFA'd like we have w/ Drake, Torres etc.. I don't want to see prospects traded this season.
  4. I like this Brewers team. I feel like 1-8 we are a pretty dangerous lineup. We have enough guys who can hit well where we can survive slumps from guys like Villar, Broxton and Santana. But all 3 of these guys have shown that they can carry a team if they get hot. Our pitching needs to get more consistent, but there have been some really good starts from a few of the guys. That's w/ our ace, Junior Guerra getting hurt, and our #2 Davies starting to come around a little bit. Also, Knebel, Drake and Barnes have been solid out of the pen. Hopefully Feliz starts pitching better, otherwise I think we need to move him out of the closer role soon. I think eventually Espino and/or Cravy will be up and Marinez and Hughes will be DFA'd.
  5. I like this move. I hope Scahill continues to pitch well.
  6. Troy Stokes Jr. has had a very nice start to the season. He seems like a guy to keep an eye on, some speed, a little power and plate discipline.
  7. Interesting, I'm guessing Sogard or De Jesus get added now?
  8. I think it ends up being Bandy as the starter, and Pina as the backup to start the season. Like others have said, Susac has struggled, and has 2 options remaining.
  9. Brewers Record: 81-81 Playoffs: No Brewers MVP: Domingo Santana Brewers CY Young: Zach Davies Brewers ROY: Susac First player traded: Braun Surprise player: Santana Disappointing player: Guerra World Series: Red Sox over Nationals
  10. These are always fun topics. Here's my prediction. C - Susac 1b - Thames 2b - Villar SS - Arcia 3b - Erceg RF - Ray CF - Brinson LF - Santana Bench - Nottingham, Phillips, Cordell, H. Perez, Dubon 1. Hader 2. Davies 3. Ortiz 4. Bickford 5. Woodruff BP - Lopez, D. Williams, Medeiros, Barnes, Ponce, Kirby, Burnes
  11. I don't think it's over yet. I'm willing to bet he is still being shopped. The Dodgers are still looking for RH power, right?
  12. He seems like a decent pickup. I thought Martin and Gagnon were totally expendable. Below is an article that makes me like Jett Bandy even more. http://www.ocregister.com/articles/bandy-726682-john-bartending.html
  13. I would be excited to see Feliz and/or Storen brought in.
  14. I like it, from what I've seen so far. Hard throwing lefty, has a good chance to stick.
  15. After doing my research on the guys acquired for Thornburg, I don't mind the trade. I hope Travis Shaw can get past his 2nd half slump last season, and be a good 3b for the Brewers. It's nice he has had some MLB success, and we control him for a while. I'm very excited about Mauricio Dubon, he looks like an absolute stud, who is coming into his own as a player.
  16. I love the idea of Solarte, he seems to have improved every season so far, and would definitely be a great addition at 3b. Hopefully Stearns is looking into it.
  17. Wouldn't it make sense for a team to trade for him, so they could have the right to negotiate with him? There have to be multiple teams that want him.
  18. If Jairo Beras is available, I would take a shot at him and make him our 5th OF. He seems like he has big upside.
  19. Former prospect who blew up in Korea, and is still in the prime of his career. Why not? I'm all aboard the Eric Thames train. It helps that he can play corner outfield also.
  20. Tomorrow morning, my wife and I are heading to Puerto Rico to celebrate our 10th anniversary! I'm super pumped, I have never been to the Caribbean or anything like it.

  22. I think the Red Sox could definitely be an option for Braun. I'm guessing he'd be willing to waive his no trade clause for them.
  23. I think the fact that he is a lot better 3 pt shooter, and doesn't need to have the ball in his hands all of the time, makes him a much better fit than MCW. I had high hopes for MCW, but he was as frustrating to watch as anyone on the Bucks the last few years. He made a lot of unforced turnovers.
