  1. I like this trade, John Curtiss looks like a very good reliever and under team control for years.
  2. Bucks selected a Greek Georgios Kalaitzakis with the 60th pick.
  3. The Bucks selected Sandro Mamukelashvili with the 54th pick.
  4. I don't know that much about these guys, but McBride was someone who had stuck out to me - just reading some reports. Oh well. A good defensive point guard that shoots 41% from 3, could potentially be a good PG for the Bucks.
  5. Miles McBride gone in the 36th pick (Thunder).
  6. Trey Murphy gone in the 17th pick (Pelicans) Quentin Grimes gone in the 25th pick (Clippers) Miles McBride was still available for the 31st pick, wonder if he can drop to the 54th pick.
  7. The Wizards selected Isaiah Todd with the 31st pick.
  8. Pacers have traded Aaron Holiday and the 31st pick to the Wizards for the 22nd pick (and they have selected Isaiah Jackson).
  9. Details of the trade Eric Nehm @eric_nehm · 16m Details on the Bucks-Pacers trade, per a source. Bucks trade No. 31 to the Pacers. Bucks receive: 2021 No. 54. 2021 No. 60. In 2024, the more favorable of a)IND's 2nd rd and b) the less favorable of CLE/UTH 2nd rd. In 2026, the more favorable of IND and MIA's 2nd rd picks.
  10. Looks like Bucks are trading down to get 4 2nd picks Shams Charania @ShamsCharania · 5m Sources: Indiana is sending No. 54, No. 60 and two future seconds to Milwaukee for No. 31.
  11. Brewers should get Max Scherzer. Of all the known available players, Scherzer will make the biggest impact for the Brewers in the playoffs. A playoff rotation of Scherzer, Woodruff and Burnes with Peralta in the bullpen could win a World Series.
  12. David Stearns on the Eduardo Escobar trade
  13. According to Dback fans, Eduardo Escobar is the team's best player. Looks like it's a good trade for the Brewers.
  14. Twins get Cain Brewers get Donaldson + $10M
  15. The 3 guys I like for the Bucks 31st pick in order: Top choice - Trey Murphy III 2nd choice - Quentin Grimes 3rd choice - Miles McBride
  16. Hield's salary next season is $22.5M. Bucks have a $4.8M Trade Exception for sending D.J. Augustin to Houston, $18M + $4.8M = $22.8M. If Forbes opt-in for next season, he can be package into the trade too.
  17. For me, I'm thinking about replacing Lopez with Portis as the starting center for next season. I'd sign Portis to a new contract. The Kings have some interest in DDV last offseason and their two centers Holmes and Whiteside are now both FAs, and Buddy Hield could be available for trade. Maybe a Buddy Hield for DDV and Lopez trade could be work out. Bucks starting lineup for next season PG: Jrue SG: Buddy SF: Khris PF: Giannis C: Bobby
  18. The more I think about it, besides the Bucks retaining Portis, I also hope they sign Tucker for one more season to repeat. Sounds like the Bucks billionaire co-owner will be focusing on the repeat in yesterday's interview.
  19. Agree that DDV is a good defender and a very good rebounder for his position. But he's not a reliable scorer, he's streaky and gets into ice cold shooting spells often. The Bucks may need more reliable scoring from the SG position next postseason, especially against a healthy Nets team. Besides his rookie year, DDV is also injured this playoffs and missed almost all of the postseason, fortunately the Bucks have Tucker to replace him and Pat also did a very good job replacing him off the bench.
  20. For me, I think the Bucks will retain Portis, but let Forbes and Teague go. I think Tucker will very likely be gone too unless he's willing to accept a much lower salary to stay with the Bucks next season. I also think Horst will try to upgrade the SG starter position. The team is owned by 3 billionaires who have already proven they are willing to spend big on payroll to win a championship. I don't underestimate their desire to win another championship.
  21. I completely disagree. You can't replace DDV with anyone as the Bucks don't have the cap room to do that. DDV maybe the weak link in the Bucks starting lineup but he is a really good defender at SG. He can also score rather reliably while he is not on the level of Middleton or Holiday he is definitely a good 4th option on the team as a scorer. Portis is also signed for next year as he signed a 2-year deal in the off season so he will be here for the 2021-2022 season. The Bucks already foresaw the need to upgrade the SG starter position when they attempted to replace DDV with Bogdan Bogdanović last offseason, and they almost did if not for a leaker to the media. DDV is a good defender but is not a reliable scorer, and he's quite injury prone. Wouldn't be surprise if Horst upgrade the SG starter position this offseason or during next season with the playoffs in mind. Portis is most likely opting out of his player option for next season, but the Bucks can still retain him with a new contract.
  22. To repeat next year (especially against a healthy Nets team), the Bucks need to replace DDV with a better starting SG. DDV is the weak link in the Bucks starting lineup. The Bucks also have to retain Portis, he's the perfect center in the Bucks system with his shooting, offense, rebounding, hustle and energy.
  23. Brewers to win the WS in 2021 and Bucks to repeat in 2022.
  24. Well, I got the Bucks championship partially right, just that it happened 2 years later. Now waiting for the Brewers to win the WS in 2021.
