  1. Agreed on the first part, Hiura certainly exceeded my expectations for his first start. I was actually hoping that CC would kind of ease him into to playing. No Sir! You're up, you start! He didn't disappoint! On your second comment, while the term impact can be debated, I really liked Nori Aoki when he was here and thought he made a impact, albeit a short one. Yes I like Aoki a lot too, he was good, but sadly the Brewers traded him. Hiura is different from Aoki and probably better, a first round Brewers draft pick and top prospect, totally homegrown and he's also half Chinese descent.
  2. Very nice MLB debut by Hiura, 2 hits and a walk, the team could really use his bat in the lineup. After all these years, finally an impact Brewers player of Asian descent for me to root for.
  3. If this is an April Fools joke, I second your motion to ban the joker.
  4. Since it's posted by a moderator I believe him, getting both Keuchel & Kimbrel seems like overkill but I like it.
  5. One thing is for sure, we have a better offense this season than last season, which is why I'm optimistic about a Championship.
  6. I've a feeling the Brewers will win the World Series this year.
  7. 2019 Brewers Predictions Win-Loss Record: 100-62 Playoffs (Yes, No): Yes Highest Playoff Level Achieved: World Series champions All-Star Game Representative(s): Cain, Yelich, Shaw, Grandal, Hader, Chacín Offensive Player of the Year: Yelich Starting Pitcher of the Year: Jhoulys Chacín Relief Pitcher of the Year: Hader Most Surprising Player: Woodruff Most Disappointing Player: Zach Davies
  8. Alex Wilson passed his physical. His deal with the Brewers is official. I really like this cheap $750K signing, Alex Wilson's stats is pretty good, I'm very surprise he was let go by the Tigers and Indians.
  9. This Santana trade was the only trade I didn't like this offseason. I'd keep Santana especially if there will be a DH in the NL.
  10. Surprising that Tomlin has been released, he has pitched a lot better than Davis and Anderson in ST. Could potentially be the next Miley for the Brewers.
  11. Bucks win the NBA championship in June 2019, and the Brewers win the World Series in October 2019.
  12. There is no improvement from last year, Davis is still awful and should not be in the rotation, he should be traded asap or option to the minors. Very much prefer to have Burnes, Freddy, Nelson and Tomlin in the rotation over Davis.
  13. 44-14, 30 games over .500. What a season so far.
  14. Kinda hard to believe that "the chips are all in now" when the Brewers payroll is less than the Bucks. The Brewers current payroll is about $121 million while the Bucks current payroll is $126.5 million, the Bucks payroll is expected increase in the upcoming offseason. I think Mark A should still has some chips left that he's not letting people know.
  15. If there is DH in the NL this season, wouldn't mind getting Harper on a one year deal and move Braun to the DH. Our lineup would be amazing.
  16. 1. Not in favor of the three-batter minimum for pitchers 2. Very much in favor of having a universal designated hitter 3. Ok with a single trade deadline before the All-Star break 4. Ok with a 20-second pitch clock 5. Very much in favor of expanding the roster to 26 men, with a 12-pitcher maximum Neutral to 6, 7 and 8.
  17. If there is the DH, I would have kept Santana. But still I wouldn't mind having the DH this season, don't want to see another Nelson type injury happen to the Brewers. The DH will probably be Braun now that Santana is gone, maybe the DH will allow Braun to play more games.
  18. Hope we can get both Keuchel and Miley, two very good lefties for the rotation, our pitching staff would be great and deep.
  19. 15 years later, it might be named the Foxconn Field.
  20. How about the Brewerfandome? Sounds good to me!
  21. I always like the Dome name for covered stadiums and the Brewers have the unique baseball retractable fan roof which is the distinctive feature of the stadium. There is the Superdome and Alamodome, I hope they rename Miller Park to the Brewerdome. The AmFam Brewerdome sounds good to me, people will simply call it the Brewerdome.
  22. My guess is signing Miley to a one year deal.
