  1. Actually, I'm thinking that if the Brewers fail to make the playoffs this year, I would like to see Kremblas replace Yost as the Brewers manager. I think Kemblas has a better managerial track record in the minors than members of the Brewers coaching staff, some of them have no managerial experience at all. But I think the coaches you've mentioned did ok this year and hope they return next year. Before Yost became the Brewers manager, he had no major league managerial experience and his minor league managerial resume is worse than Kremblas and some member of the Brewers coaching staff. Where in the article does it say that?
  2. Kremblas did a fine managerial job for the Brewers in the minors, building good credentials and track record. At Hunstville, Kremblas was the AA Southern League manager of the year in 2003 and and was named the best managerial prospect by Baseball America in 2004. The Brewers promoted Kremblas to AAA in 2005 and he led the Sounds to the most unlikely champions of the PCL. This year he was named the PCL manager of the year. Doug Melvin and JJ Hardy have high praise for Kremblas managerial ability in this article. The Brewers young core players are familiar with Kremblas, they seem to like him and have excelled under his management. Like Corey Hart, I think Kremblas have nothing else left to prove in the minors and should be with the major league team next year.
  3. Bases loaded one out for the pirates in the 6th inning. Go Pirates!
  4. Yeah, totally agree with that. Sheets, Yo, Suppan, CV and Bush for next year's rotation.
  5. Yeah, I have the same problem too. Now listening to wtmj and checking with gameday.
  6. I think there's nothing wrong with that if the player deserves it and needs a wakeup call.
  7. Ned Yost should have been replaced last week!
  8. I believe I can fly I believe I can touch the sky
  9. Though I have watched very little Detriot Tigers baseball but the Tigers just seems like a good alternative baseball team for me to follow. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
  10. If the Brewers fail to make the playoffs, Attanasio is gonna lose the playoff tickets and concessions windfall, and next season's ticket sales will probably be affected as well.
  11. The Brewers had a 5.5 games lead in the division when Melvin made that comment.
  12. I like Gabe Gross a lot. I hope he takes Jenkins' spot next year and play on a regular/starter basis.
  13. Parra has better stuff than Cappy, he could give us a better chance of winning.
  14. Yeah, that was the worse Brewers defensive play I've seen this year. Why does Ned employ that stupid shift.
  15. The 82 Brewers replaced their manager midseason when they were struggling, and they went on to the postseason and the world series. I think the Brewers should learn from history and replace Ned Yost now. Frank Kremblas has been doing a great managerial job in Huntsville and in Nashville for several years, I think Kremblas should be callup now to be the Brewers interim manager.
  16. I think the Brewers should move Capuano to the bullpen after this game, let Parra start in his spot.
  17. I think Ned (or the veteran players) shouldn't be babying the young players. The young players must be fully aware of the Cubs and learn to excel under pressure. The players must be tougher and more determine to succeed. Looks like it's not young players that can't handle the pressure, but instead it's Ned and some veteran players. Edit: quote from SeriesFinale
  18. I think Ned Yost made a serious mistake of being relax and getting his players relax in the roadtrip even though the Cubs are closing in. There was a serious lack of urgency and fire, instead I saw Ned smiling in the dugout and players smiling on the field because to Ned it's all about having fun. And Ned kept giving this silly excuse that the Brewers are in first place, so we don't need to be concern about the Cubs. You are wrong Ned , it's all about winning and making the postseason. You are suppose to be aware of your rival's performance and face up to their challenge firmly, instead of ignoring them like you did. Ned, now that the Brewers are out of first place, what's your excuse now? One more thing, the Brewers have a very poor road record under Ned Yost and I find Ned's lack of a solution or explaination disturbing.
  19. Hope Dessens pitch better for the Brewers than before he went on the DL. He did pitch quite well for the Sounds.
  20. Good move to callup Dillion, his RH bat could help the Brewers offense. I agree with NDOG that Weeks should be send down when Linebrink is back from leave.
  21. Ned Yost advice the fans and media don't panic, relax and enjoy the season. Well thanks to Ned, I had a relaxing and enjoyable time watching the Brewers choke this weekend and some games last week. Nice job Ned. Wonder how Mark Attanasio is feeling right now...
  22. Good luck Manny on your first big league start. I will be rooting for you, and hopefully a Brewers win.
  23. I'm very sad to see you go Will Inman, you've been a joy to follow as a Brewers prospect. Great attitude and determination, outstanding performances and classic quotes, you will be sorely missed. I think the Brewers made a mistake.
  24. I remember in the offseason, I had disagreed with some who had suggested trading Yo in a package for Crawford. Look where Yo is now and in years to come, it's a very good thing the Brewers did not trade him. Same with Inman, it's too early to give up on him or trade him. They should have kept Inman and let him develop. He could turn out to be like Yo or CV, and that would increase his value significantly.
