  1. Walking the bases loaded with a guy that can't throw a strike on the mound?
  2. As exciting as the 1-0 win over Pittsburgh was...this one is equally unexciting.
  3. You can argue over who should be batting leadoff, but regardless, just seeing those 8 guys together in the lineup makes me happy.
  4. I suggest you have a listen to Block and Hamilton together in the booth, as I previously had exactly the same opinion of Block. I still don't think he's really special or anything, but I find him 100x more enjoyable with Hamilton to banter with. He has more personality, less dry, funnier, just feels much more comfortable than when he has to run a solo show. I hope the day that Ueck is no longer on the call is a long ways away, but for the first time since Block took over I feel we perhaps have a worthy heir (or two) apparent.
  5. Remember in little league when they taught you to freeze on a liner? Elian Herrera doesn't.
  6. Oh ok, so now predictions don't count if the game goes to extras or the manager makes a decision you disagree with. I'm sure if Weeks had homered you still would have nullified this prediction.
  7. Does this officially count as a prediction? Or only if it turns out to be right?
  8. Gomez Gennett Braun Ramirez Lucroy Reynolds Davis Segura Remember this lineup? sigh.....
  9. So much bunting! I guess it's better than the standard strikeout with a man on 3rd and less than 2 outs.
  10. Is it just me or does Ryan Doumit's eyes look black? I always thought he looked like he has no soul
  11. Is there a precedent for this? Have other major league teams ever wasted a roster spot on an A-ball player for an entire year just to try and hold on to them and hope they realize some potential? Seems asinine.
  12. Here's hoping he gives up 10 more so we can end the Wang experiment. In today's game of pitch count mania, you can't waste a bullpen spot, not if you're expiating to contend. Period.
  13. Despite the fact I have no confidence in our offense scoring in the 9th, this is exactly why WCW should not be on the roster of a contending baseball team. He will be forced to pitch sometimes. Prove me wrong Wang.
  14. Great play by Braun, Wily looks like a 10-year old sulking and throwing mini tantrums out there.
  15. dlk9s - the title under your avatar could not be more spot on
  16. I always said the same thing about former Nebraska QB Taylor Martinez http://image.cdnllnwnl.xosnetwork.com/pics32/640/LF/LFDNYOEMRYFNDFP.20111031184343.JPG Turns out he's actually German, French, and Irish. His father was adopted.
  17. I think he's just bad enough that he actually is cut out for TV - because Brewers fans find his mumbling and stumbling humorous and even endearing. If he was just a little better at what he does, I'm not sure he'd still be around
