  1. If you’re a Packer or 49er fan, you’ve got to be agonizing over the amount of injuries and COVID holdouts. If you’re a fan of the NFL, it will probably be fun to watch Kyle Shanahan and MLF improvise on offense with their limited personnel.
  2. Wow, Bourne’s test was a false positive but he and his high risk teammates are all still ineligible to play tonight. That seems unfair.
  3. The Packers are already in SF. I can’t see it being delayed now. Given the issues with BOTH teams, I’m shocked it wasn’t pushed back until Sunday.
  4. For sure, but the Packers still hit on Elgton Jenkins in the second round of last year’s draft. Of the many questionable moves / non-moves this team has made in recent years, using a second round pick to draft a starting guard is not one of them. Oh I agree, but if given the choice between Jenkins and Metcalf, I'd take the latter in the blink of an eye. Playmakers win championships, not interior lineman. I’m with you 100%. I’d trade Jenkins straight up for Metcalf in a heartbeat. But considering all the Packers’ second round flops since Adams in 2014 (Quinten Rollins, Jason Spriggs, Josh Jones, and Josh Jackson), I’m giddy about hitting on Jenkins.

  6. Yeah, the weather didn’t help. Neither did the penalties. And neither did missing David Bakhtiari and Aaron Jones. I’m willing to give them a pass today and not get too hung up on this one. But I gave them a pass two weeks ago and excuses are wearing thin. Hopefully, they right the ship soon.
  7. No, I think they just got exposed.
  8. [sarcasm]Why don’t we ever get NFC Championship games at home?[/sarcasm]
  9. Do the Packers have enough clock to be running the ball?
  10. You can always count on one doinker per year. And this is why we don’t get NFC Championship games at home.
  11. Crap load of turnovers has hurt them. With no D if you turn it over you’re in trouble. They can put up points if they take care of the ball. OK - waiting on that turnover, I guess
  12. I just poured out my drink. That’s it.
  13. Why are the Vikings 1-5? Or are the Packers just pretenders?
  14. They cannot give up any points here. There won’t be enough time to make up the extra possession.
  15. This will be a 5-3 football team in 4 days.
  16. It feels like an hour since the Packers have had the ball.
  17. Pam Oliver just looks miserable out there.
  18. If you’re looking for a reason to be optimistic, the Packers losing this game will probably prevent the Vikings from being able to draft Trevor Lawrence.
  19. Losing a coin toss = 1/2 a turnover
  20. Same. The Vikings still have enough talent on offense to put up 30 points. I think the Packers are still the better team, but few outcomes would surprise me. Enjoy the game. Go Pack!
  21. For me, it’s the Vikings, Cowboys, and Seahawks. It’d be difficult to pick just one. Seeing the Bears as the most hated team in Wisconsin is a mild surprise. I’m 35 and have never really hated the Bears. In my mind, the Vikings will always be the hated division rival because 1) the Metro Dome was a house of horrors for the Packers in the 90s, 2) Randy Moss mooning Packer fans in the process of winning a playoff game at Lambeau, 3) Brett Favre defecting to the Vikings (plus other Packers like Longwell and Jennings), 4) Anthony Barr breaking Rodgers’ collar bone and fans gloating about it, and 5) Seems like they’re always a trendy pre-season pick to win the NFC North, but rarely does their performance match their expectations.
  22. The Vikings just had a positive COVID test. Hopefully, it doesn’t impact Sunday’s game. They can’t exactly flex it to Monday with the Packers playing on TNF.
  23. I don't know about that. The 49ers are going to be pushing a skeleton crew out there. Let's not play into the narrative that every team in the NFC West is infallible. Certainly not, but on the road during a short week? Maybe I’m just trying to manage my own expectations.
  24. I’m glad the Bears lost, but let’s keep in mind they had to play an NFC West team on the road. The Packers will have to do the same in 2 weeks (on short rest) and will likely get their second loss, as well.
