    I dont think they can really compete if they lose both CC and Ben, Yo will be very good and Manny will be strong But with Bush and Soup they are average at best and between Villy and Seth your looking at average as well. Cappy has no reason to even wear a major league uniform again if you ask me. They need to make a deal for a true #1 or at least a solid #2 if both CC and Sheets leave

    The Mike Lamb option is a good one he has done well so far with limited playing time. If he could hold down the spot in a platoon situation till Gamel is ready that could work.

    And this is the year the team is "Going for it" Yea going for being this years version of the Mets! They will lose CC and Sheets come seasons end. Looks like back to the drawing board.

    At least the No No was not against us! Still funny the best thing to happen at Miller Park this year is from a Cub and our team was watching on TV!

    thank god football has started. I cant take this team anymore. They don't deserve to make the playoffs.

    Today being another off day for the team I was sitting around thinking and a thought came to my mind is the letter G unlucky? Looking at our team with Gagne, Guillermo Mota, having such bad seasons and then a possible season ending injuy to Gallardo and last season with Graffy... do we just have bad luck with players who's first or last name start with G? Geoff Jenkins was not all that great for us and Greg Vaughn was awful so it got me wondering.

    First I just want to say this is just my thinking some of you will say "I see where he is coming from." Others will say "this guy is a moron."... I want to know if that hit by Kapler yesterday in some way saved the rest of the season? Loosing 3 of 4 to Washington would have been awful and to come back home after such a tough loss may have been the end for this team. But they pulled through and even tonight down 2-0 late I was pretty confident that they could come back. I think they believe they can come back. If the starting pitchers can just keep the games close I feel pretty good about our ability to win games late. Tavarez looked ok tonight granted he only through about 10 pitches. I think Torres is doing nice at the closer spot. I just feel good about this team these past 2 days and I think they are turning the corner...at least I hope! Want to see what you all think.

    Ok so they got swept by the Sox but were lucky enough to get out of town just in time!

    Milwaukee is just as talented as Boston, but our players don't play like them. Braun, Kendell, Kapler & Hart are the only ones playing average or above. We made too many errors and cant afford to do that against any team we play and for sure not against the world champions. Bush and C.V. had no chance against that lineup. So the DH part was the least of our problems.
