  1. Screw winning, this is about being a man! Indeed
  2. All I know is that McClung throws 96+ so I hope he gets someone in the ribs
  3. alright, leadoff double! Lets get it started early today!
  4. Here we go: A little noobie photoshop work and I made the picture a little more realistic.... http://images.yuku.com/image/jpeg/16026fc3eb246ccf6d5e63a3c5670c694cf6c51b.jpg
  5. Im still wondering why no one wears stir-ups these days. I want them back See: Jamie Moyer and Bary Zito
  6. In other news: Pirates are STOMPING the Cardinals 13-1
  7. 3rd longest in MP history. Atta boy 3TO!!
  8. hope not...Loaiza is a head case
  9. I haven't been able to stand Joakin Noah since he did that STUPID dance after winning the national title. He is a moron that doesn't belong anywhere but in the nut house.
  10. What I don't get is that Gagne is throwing the ball well (or... decently anyway) - fastball in the low-middle 90's, good changeup. If you look at the pitch location from that HR, it was on the inner 1/2 of the plate about mid thigh. At 92MPH, Juan Pierre could probably hit that one out. 92 MPH at that same plate location, but around the knees is a whole different ball game, but leaving pitches around the thigh or waist in MLB is asking for a HR.
  11. I guess Bill really wanted to make a play in the stands....what a schmuck
  12. I hope people finally stop giving Gagne a pass and agree with what I said after his 4th B.S. This guy CANNOT get it done. It is not because he is getting squeazed, it is not because he has bad luck...he just can't make good pitches when he needs them.
  13. and the Gagne rollercoaster starts..... You know you are in bad shape when you bring in your closer in with a 6 run lead. Never would have happened last year. Just shows that Gagne needs to figure it out.
  14. Alright! Every Brewer position player has a batting average in the 200s (or 300s) now. Nice work Weeks! Unfortunately, we don't have any regulars batting .300 or better. That will come for Ryan and Corey though. EDIT - I should speak more often. That HR puts Hart at .303
  15. oh good lord. Look at those pants on Gagne...
  16. Another side note - the White Sox have only played 16 home games thus far along with 27 road games. Compare that to the Cubs w/ 27 home games and 18 road games. MLB scheduling is a strange thing...
  17. Wow, Cameron hit that in the perfect spot. I sure feel better about a 4 run lead than a 2 run lead. I agree. Unfortunately I still don't feel very good with a 4-run lead. I have seen what this bullpen is capable of and it doesn't ease my stomach any....
  18. Parra needs to figure out a way to go longer than 5 and 2/3. He pitched well today, he just needs to be able to keep his pitch count down. One particular situation I can think of was when there was a runner on first and the batter (can't remember who) was offering a bunt. Parra proceeded to go 3-0 on him and eventually he bunted and got out. Parra should just throw him a pitch to bunt, save 5 pitches there and cut his losses.
  19. they have a Marlins-sized crowd there. Any guesses? 10k?
  20. it counts as an HBP even if the ball hits the ground first? Never knew that.
