  1. Haha, Anderson acting like Weeks was gonna run all day on that one and he just eases into second with a double. The last thing Rickie wants to do right now is make another out on the bases.
  2. As frustrated as some of us are getting right now, imagine how Cards fans feel right now. Losing again to KC after already being losers of 7 in a row. Not that I care, because it's good for us.
  3. It's looking like we'll only need Loe and Ax tonight. Hopefully they are both on. Can't handle another loss here.
  4. Really depends on what part of the lineup he hits. We'll have to wait and see.
  5. Counsell better be in the lineup again tomorrow. I'm sick of watching Betancourt pop out every time up.
  6. I want him on the roster as a pinch-runner and defensive replacement. That's it. At this point, he sucks so bad at the plate that I'd just play Morgan everyday. He wouldn't do any worse than Gomez against lefties.
  7. Not sure I'd sign both Bell and K-Rod, but with that kinda money why not? That would be an amazing team. Rotation of Greinke, Gallardo, Marcum, Wilson, Wolf. Bullpen with Ax in the 7th, K-Rod 8th, Bell 9th. Insane.
  8. True, their lineup is insane. Their whole team is incredibly deep everywhere. It would be great to have that extra cash. I feel lucky to have the lineup and team we have considering our payroll. No way anyone can match that Red Sox lineup without a high payroll.
  9. Agreed, Bogut is a very good player when healthy, but he's never gonna be the type of player to build a team around. He needs a few great players around him, which the Bucks will never be able to get. The only way to get better is to rebuild. This specific trade may not do it, but trading Bogut really won't matter in the long run. A rebuild is the only way to become a great team at this point.
  10. With every homer Kottaras hits, Roenicke and Melvin feel more and more like morons.
  11. Haha, yes! I guess Kottaras was the right button to push afterall.
  12. Here's a prime example of how good the Red Sox lineup is. The bottom of their lineup produces runs. Ours doesn't.
  13. And the bottom of our lineup continues to show their suckiness.
  14. Crap. You gotta be kidding me. McGehee has been so unlucky lately. He killed that and it turns into a double play.
  15. Yes! Back-to-back bombs, and then a double! Good start on Lester.
  16. It actually was at the time. He sucked, and we had Escobar.
  17. Yeah, we better hope Wolf throws a gem and the top 4 get us a decent amount of runs. Otherwise we are completely screwed.
  18. He's not, but if he's the only lefthander in your pen, you don't want to use him too early in case you need him later against a Ryan Howard type. So basically just an L, since the "one out guy" doesn't really apply. Agreed. That's why two lefties would be better. He can face righties, but as the pen is now, he would likely be used late when mostly lefties are due up. Doesn't mean he can't pitch a full inning and face righties too.
  19. We do have too many situational pitchers in our bullpen. It's going to be nice to get Saito back, and then hopefully Braddock, because that in theory would allow Roenicke to use his guys in the right situations. Saito should setup, Loe late in games against righties, Braddock late against lefties, Hawkins before Saito, Ax closing, Mitre for multiple innings, and then whoever else as a fill-in guy/long reliever, or another lefty.
  20. This is a horrible lineup. Not batting Gomez 9th is inexcusable. Have to utilize him as a second leadoff hitter in this situation. Otherwise, not much you can do, except play Lucroy because we're facing a lefty. But we all know that situation.
  21. It was originally noon, but changed to 6 because of the Bruins parade.
