  1. Ax said he made his decision, but we have to wait until he uses it to find out what it is.
  2. Parra is throwing a simulated game tomorrow. If everything goes well, he'll be cleared for a rehab assignment. That's some good news. As for Hart, I think some of the mental hurdles would just involve his fear of aggravating the injury. When you get an injury like that, there is always talk out there about how easy it is to aggravate it, and I know a lot of people in the media are starting to get on him about why his recovery is taking so long. I think all that is starting to get in his head, so it's piling on. I think he'll get over it, and be fine.
  3. I really don't think it's a good idea to put Counsell in a platoon with Betancourt. It's a good idea to give Craig starts against righties every 3 or 4 days though. We face a lot more righties than we do lefties, so Craig would end up playing most of the time. I don't see him being able to handle that well, especially when he is needed to backup 2B and 3B as well. A Morgan/Gomez platoon is definitely going to happen, sooner rather than later. It's pretty inevitable at this point.
  4. I get WMLW where I live, and I won't be watching the whole game on TV. It is incredibly annoying, and hurts my eyes. I'll just be listening, or watching gameday, most of the time. Just tried watching the Bucks game for 5 minutes. Then they went down 10-0, so I shut it off.
  5. Where'd you find the lineup? It was on the Brewers facebook page. But here's a link too. http://brewersbeat.mlblogs.com/
  6. Brewers vs. Braves - Weeks 4 Morgan 8 Braun 7 Fielder 3 McGehee 5 Kotsay 9 Counsell 6 Kottaras 2 Gallardo 1 Not bad. At least Gomez, Betancourt, and Nieves aren't playing.
  7. Yeah, I got pissed when I saw this game was on WMLW. I can't stand watching 9 innings of baseball with that crappy of a picture. The Bucks season can't end soon enough. As for the game itself, we better win. I am so sick of hearing people whine and complain about our 0-4 start that I am losing my sanity. I'm upset that we are 0-4 like anyone else, but I'm not jumping off a bridge and criticizing everything about the team. I've been in on-going arguments with a few people on facebook ever since the game ended yesterday trying to defend the team and make people realize that it's only 4 games out of 162. Most people don't seem to get that still, and it's really pissing me off. Nonetheless, we better get a win under our belts soon, and there's no better time than tonight with Yo on the hill.
  8. It's probably because The Rock has commitments until then. That's my guess. He's got a couple movies he has to film this summer and fall, and then he'll have to train some, and come back for the build. Hopefully it works out.
  9. Lucroy is down at Brevard County right now, then he is going to play with Huntsville this weekend I believe. Hopefully, he'll be back next week. Haven't heard much about the other guys, except that Greinke is taking it slow on his throwing program, but will throw off a mound this week. Also, Hart isn't comfortable enough to play in a game yet.
  10. He's wrestling Cena at Wrestlemania 28 with a year build-up. We'll see how this works out. It's definitely interesting and intriguing. Hopefully they don't mess it up. I'm excited for the possibility though.
  11. I would believe that. New Noise was leading up until the last day or two. If he does pick the leader, he might have to be ready to change it until it is actually used. He said on his facebook yesterday that he can't decide between the top 2, which are New Noise and Bulls on Parade.
  12. Ok, let's throw this out there for fun. How long will it take before Nyjer Morgan takes over most of the playing time in CF? We all know Gomez will still see starts against lefties and such, but you get the point. I say end of April, or early May. Should be earlier, but it is what it is.
  13. That was Zack Ryder. It was funny, but it was unnecessary. They bumped the Sheamus/Bryan US title match from the card to have crap like that. They could've easily cut that pointless segment and cut down on the Lawler/Cole segment(I won't call it a match) to have that match stay on the card.
  14. It makes no sense to me to have McGehee hitting 2nd over Morgan in that situation. McGehee produces runs, and Morgan doesn't. Morgan is fast and can bunt, and McGehee can't. I wouldn't want McGehee hitting 2nd ever. Hart or Morgan are far better choices IMO.
  15. I like those lineups except I would start Counsell at SS once or twice a week vs righ-handers, vs Left-Handers I would bat the pitcher 8th and Gomez 9th and I would keep Weeks leading off. Morgan is an excellent bunter and would be ideal in many ways batting 2nd I agree that he is a good bunter. It could be useful to have him bunt after a Weeks hit, but I would also like him leadoff so he good steal with Weeks at the plate.
  16. Completely agree. I think it matters a lot. Case in point is Fielder getting walked a lot. Last year McGehee made pitchers pay a lot, so the intentional walks lessened some, but this year it seems to be starting again. It's a lot about who is behind you in most situations. I agree that early in games it isn't that big of a deal, but as the game goes on it really matters.
  17. I doubt it would've been a deal-breaker in the Greinke trade, I just feel that Doug wouldn't've made that trade when he already would have Beachy and Marcum in that situation. I would've still done it for sure, but I doubt he would've/.
  18. Ok, for later in the season when Hart and Lucroy are back. vs LH Weeks Hart Braun Fielder McGehee Betancourt Lucroy Gomez vs RH Morgan Weeks Braun Fielder McGehee Hart Betancourt Lucroy
  19. Sorry, but I really don't believe that Braun would have as much success if Fielder wasn't hitting behind him. It's been proved before when they tried flipping them a few times. I think it does make a difference who is hitting behind who. That's not to say that Braun wouldn't still be great, but I think Fielder behind him helps him see more good pitches. Braun behind Rickie would make a difference in my opinion.
  20. For sure. Like I said before, this would be the best for Rickie's production. I hope Roenicke realizes this soon.
  21. Yeah, I've gotten a few of these emails too. I'm not too worried about it right now. Seems like it wasn't anything too serious.
  22. I feel like the Undertaker really isn't capable of having a good match anymore. The only reason his two with HBK were good is because HBK carried him. The first one was far better than the second imo. The match with HHH was pretty good, but would've been better if Taker was in any shape to wrestle. He was done a few minutes into the match, which is part of the reason why I think they had HHH dominate him all match. Taker can't do anything anymore. I seriously doubt he'll wrestle another match until Wrestlemania next year. I don't see any reason why he would, and that match will probably be his last.
  23. Rage is up by 3 votes right now. I would guess that he already picked his song and has an intro and everything already set up though.
  24. Yeah, I really don't see Gomez in the lineup tomorrow then. It'll be Weeks Morgan Braun Fielder McGehee Kotsay Betancourt Nieves Gallardo. Even though Nieves sucks he'll play again because he caught Gallardo all spring. The lineup I could deal with right now is Morgan Weeks Braun Fielder McGehee Betancourt Kottaras Gomez Pitcher.
  25. I'd hit Weeks 2nd simply so he would actually get someone on base in front of him. That person being Nyjer Morgan. He would have a lot more rbi chances, and would see a lot more fastballs in front of Braun. I think that's the main reason I'd move him down. I definitely wouldn't put him behind Fielder, I'd keep him towards the top to utilize his speed and so he would see better pitches. Next year when Fielder is gone I'd move Rickie to 3rd and bat Braun cleanup.
