  1. He just got pumped when Rickie hit the leadoff homer. He'll be ok.
  2. http://www.jsonline.com/blogs/sports/118995369.html We asked Roenicke about starting Wil Nieves behind the plate on opening day to catch Yovani Gallardo instead of going with George Kottaras, a left-handed hitter, against righty Edinson Volquez. "It wasn't flipping a coin," Roenicke said with a smile. "Just watching him in spring training; trying to figure out when I'm going to catch George." Roenicke said Kottaras probably would start the Sunday game against right-hander Bronson Arroyo but indicated Nieves will do more catching than Kottaras.
  3. He was Yo's personal catcher in Spring Training, and Roenicke obviously likes him more for some reason. He said he's gonna play more than Kottaras.
  4. These are important games. I think the Reds will end up being our main competition for the division title, so every game against them matters.
  5. Here we go! This thread being up makes it reality! Pumped up!
  6. 1-0. I have lots of faith in Yo!
  7. Yeah, Rosiak will be just fine. The best part is still that McCalvy replaced Witrado as WSSP Baseball Insider.
  8. I wouldnt be surprised if it affects him all year. Didnt Elisbury have the same injury last year? It was a nightmare because he kept coming back before he was ready. Well, seeing as he's throwing without pain already, I don't think it'll affect him all year. I think it's done affecting him already.
  9. Yep, exactly. It's not like people are gonna be at the game just to see the Packers. They will be there to see the Brewers. It's not going to retract from the experience, it will only make it better. The fans and players will all enjoy seeing this.
  10. Can't wait! Won't be able to sleep tonight! I've been waiting for this since last season ended, and going to spring training got me a lot more pumped! Less than 15 hours to go!
  11. This will be sweet. Can't wait for it!
  12. That would be cool too. Tons of Packers!
  13. Yeah, very true. Greinke would still be very strong come September and October. Probably our strongest pitcher at that point.
