  1. Make a run with what pitching? I think this is completely based on his opinion. I don't see when this last run would take place. Next year? Because I don't see us keeping Fielder past this off-season.
  2. http://www.jsonline.com/blogs/sports/99028264.html Cain back to Nashville. Sigh...
  3. http://www.jsonline.com/blogs/sports/99014834.html TH says a lot of teams are still in on Hart.
  4. Agreed. What more do people want in a young pitcher. The guy compares very favorably to Bumgarner who people have claimed to be a future ace. Is he Hellickson, no probably not but he deserves more credit than what he's getting. I agree too, but does anyone actually think that anyone in our front office would come out and say that Hudson is a future 1-2 starter? All that does is lower the offer that the Sox would give us, or make them think that he's worth more than he is, and possibly even look elsewhere. We don't want that to happen, so we downplay his value. No big deal.
  5. http://www.jsonline.com/blogs/sports/98947044.html Market accelerating for Hart.
  6. http://www.jsonline.com/blogs/sports/98947044.html TH is in on this story.
  7. I have a problem with this as well. However, as long as he trades Fielder I'll still be ok with it. The reason being is that we at least have a chance at resigning Hart if we choose to, and we could also opt to trade him at next year's deadline if we aren't competing and he continues to play well. Don't get me wrong, I'd love to sell high on him right now. I just don't think it would be the worst thing if we keep him and just trade Fielder.
  8. There's no way they move Braddock to the rotation for many of the above reasons stated. I will go with the "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" saying. He's doing great in the bullpen, so why not leave him there and not have to worry about all the problems that could arise if he joins the rotation?
  9. http://www.jsonline.com/blogs/sports/98915019.html This is the best Brewer news I've heard in a long time. I don't think I could stand listening to Davey Nelson anymore, although he'll still be announcing road games most likely. Either way, it's great to have Ueck back!
  10. Love that attitude from Gomez, we need more guys like that, right? This guy is driving me nuts. The way he can bunt for hits he should be doing it just about every at bat, until the infield is in on him. When it's in he should just slap the ball on the ground. Yet tonight, after his recent surge of bunt hits, he's up there swinging like he's going to hit a 3 run homerun when the bases are empty. Just awesome.Yeah Gomez really pisses me off. .260 isn't good enough for me, so I say it's time for Cain. Hopefully his goal is higher than .260. That's just ridiculous. I like how he uses his speed to justify it too.
  11. No, they were saying that they want him to play everyday. In the minors that is...
  12. We honestly have had 2 starters who have given up 10 runs in a start now in the last 3 days. Unbelievable.
  13. Does Fielder have a baseball magnet attached to him somewhere?
  14. So what else is on tv tonight? Someone let me know if Cain comes in.
  15. You got that right. Anyone questioning the possibility of moving McGehee to 1B is nuts. Gamel is better than McGehee at 3B.
