  1. With Wolf sucking so badly, it would be nice to have a new face back there for him. Even if he still sucked anyway, at least Luc is swinging a hot bat and could help provide some run support. Down 3-0 and counting already is a bad situation to be in against Bumgarner.
  2. I'd take him for sure. I think he'd be an upgrade. We'll see if Melvin agrees I guess.
  3. It's a joke that Lucroy isn't starting. If you wanna rest, give him the rest tomorrow. He needs to be in the lineup against Bumgarner and Zito. Love Hart at 1B though. I hope he sticks there. Gomez in the 5 hole is weird, but I'd guess he'd normally be in the 7 hole if Lucroy was in there. Fine by me.
  4. For $5 Million this year and next, with a $2 Million buyout thereafter? Pass.
  5. Lucroy is the man. Everyone needs to pitch in to get him to the all-star game.
  6. Yeah, Show is probably better utilized as a heel. That wasn't the way to do it though. It was incredibly stupid to go with the predictable ending. They usually try to change things up when they know everyone sees it coming, or has found out about it. Didn't even care in this case I guess. It wouldn't've been as bad if that match wasn't the main event. It kind of ruined the show.
  7. Show turned heel and screwed Cena. EVERYONE saw that coming, except the Cena fans in the front row, and WWE creative still stuck with it. Lame.
  8. An iron man match between these two would be amazing. I'd love to see it at some point.
  9. 5-star match from Punk and Bryan there. Absolutely fantastic. Love the finish too. Continues the feud. I think Punk was supposed to tap earlier though, so it would've been more simultaneous.
  10. Great match between Christian and Rhodes there. I hope it's the first of many.
  11. Nevermind, I guess Christian is facing Rhodes now. Yes! I guess that may also mean he's face, which isn't as great. I like him heel.
  12. Jericho is reportedly leaving soon, possibly right after tonight. Then he'll come back in September after Fozzy's US Tour is over with. Hopefully he'll actually win some matches at that point.
  13. Totally agree. I like Santino as an entertainer, but he doesn't need the US Title. Christian will be better off with it.
  14. Yeah, that's pretty lame. Even if he's staying heel, a match with Rhodes would be better. And yeah, I'm getting really sick of Ziggler jobbing to literally everyone. It would be nice if they'd actually build the tag division too with Raw going to 3 hours soon.
  15. Well, Christian finally returned and now seems like he's face again. He also won the battle royal to kick off the show. Looks like he might feud with Rhodes for the IC Title, which would be sweet. Seems like he might he could be facing Santino though, so we'll see.
  16. How did a Greinke thread turn into a Gomez vs. Green discussion?
  17. I agree, Dillard has to go. Estrada going back to the pen is the best move, but I'm not opposed to trying Henderson or Kintzler once he's ready.
  18. I sure hope it is. Makes the most sense. I've been hoping Roenicke would do that since Gamel got hurt.
  19. The main thing I could see going wrong is the whole first hour being devoted to recaps and other boring segments. If they are planning to do that, they should've just waited until the WWE Network started and put the first hour on there. They better use some of this extra time for younger guys as you said. They could also actually focus on more of the mid-card feuds as well, and try to actually make the IC, US, and Tag Titles mean something again.
  20. The main reason for that has been the lack of a good LOGGY for the better part of the this season and last. He pulled him for Perez with lefties due up already today.
  21. I totally agree with that. I wasn't saying they're gonna pull ratings. Just that I don't think the 3-hour shows were the beginning of the end of WCW like some people made them out to be. I doubt the 3-hour shows will change the ratings much at all, but time will tell I guess. I don't think it'll continue forever though. They're already saying the first hour will move to WWE Network eventually. They're likely just trying it out to see how it goes first. It's definitely worth the shot. If they book it right, it could be good.
  22. I'm not a big believer in the fact that the 3 hour shows killed WCW. I know some people are though. I think it was more of a combo of the WWE getting hotter at the time with the Stone Cold/Vince storyline, and the WCW having all aging talent. Nothing was really working in their favor at the time. The WWE had them beat in that time period, plain and simple.
  23. I think Hart being in the leadoff spot is more because he was so successful there last season than it is so he can use the 2 hole to move runners over. Surprisingly, it didn't seem like he did much of that earlier in the season. If it's Aoki in there I like him leadoff, but Morgan and Gomez are probably better in the 2 hole or lower in the lineup. Especially Morgan, because he hasn't been getting on base enough. Might as well use him to bunt Hart over if he's gonna get out anyway.
