Aoki with an outside the park HR! I wish Roenicke would just say Aoki is the everyday RF, Hart is the everyday 1B, and be done with it. It's obvious that that's the best option.

Maysonet in the lineup over Green. Awesome. If you wanna get Maysonet playing time, then just play him over Ransom. Green needs some playing time.

It would be nice if Ramirez was back so Hart could just go back to leadoff, Aoki second, and Gomez nowhere near the top of the order.

Apparently Morgan is 0-17 against Dempster in his career, which is likely why Gomez is starting. Either way, he shouldn't be leading off.

Interested lineup against Dempster. I'm guessing Gomez has better numbers against him than Morgan. Sucks that Ramirez is still out.

What doesn't help is that we're also facing McDonald, who has basically been on fire all season.

Aoki Morgan Hart Green Weeks Ransom Conrad Maldonado Fiers Probably slightly worse than some people anticipated. Not the worst though. We've done well with poor lineups before.

The problem with Marcum is that you know he'll eventually hit the wall, because of the type of pitcher he is. The question is when that'll happen, and it's hard to predict. He may have 3 or 4 more good years left in him, but he may only have 1 or 2. It's pretty risky to sign him. If we lose Greinke, I'd consider it for 2-3 years tops. There's no way I'd go past 3. Even then, it would have to be at a reasonable price, or I wouldn't risk it.

I agree, he should just hit 8th and Green and Ransom should move up. Personally, I would've moved Hart to 1B, Green to 2B, and started Aoki in RF.

Apparently Conrad is starting for Weeks, because he's sick. Oh joy. Now he can get up to 0-26 or 0-27 tonight.

Does it really matter who we draft? Skiles won't play them anyway.

Gomez really should've started tonight. He's hitting well against all pitching this year. His 2 HR's are off RHP. He deserves to be playing over Morgan at this point.

If they wanted to give Braun a day off it should've been Sunday against the Pirates before an off-day. Tonight makes no sense.
