True, it's just what I heard. Either way, should a Brewer fan be handling samples from Brewer players? Seems like a conflict of interest also.
-
I heard that Dan Patrick said on his radio show this morning that sources told him Laurenzi is a Cubs fan. Take it FWIW. Patrick did seem to be in the know about this situation all along.

This is him. http://i40.tinypic.com/256fxah.jpg

Ok, that makes sense. Pretty sure the Brewers moved up their game time last year when that happened. Surprised they didn't do that again this year.

I love Ryan Braun. That was fantastic!
-
Braun's killing it right now. I love the emotion. I believe he's innocent. I can't believe he's keeping his emotions in for the most part. He's clearly pissed.

I looked through the schedule, only games not on TV one way or another are April 25, May 9, May 23, August 30, and September 27. All weekday day games. Except I just realized that Saturday, June 2 isn't listed either. Not sure if that will be a FOX game or not. Not sure why a Saturday game wouldn't be televised. FSN usually ends up picking some of those up one way or another. Usually because of rainouts and stuff.

Won't happen. Roenicke has said Ramirez will be cleanup, and Morgan will hit 2nd. Since Weeks won't hit 5th, that leaves leadoff. Thus, my prediction is... Weeks Morgan Braun Ramirez Hart Gamel Gonzalez Lucroy

http://www.jsonline.com/blogs/sports/140226473.html This pretty much confirms that the only reason he got off was because of the sample not being sent out for 2 days.

YES! Best day of the offseason so far! I'm so happy right now! Wooooo!!!!

I'm now becoming very impatient and anxious. Can't stand it now knowing it'll happen today.

WMLW to offer HD beginning March 12
PrinceEatMeat replied to BradWI's topic in Milwaukee Brewers Talk
Idk what will happen. Because there are at least 6 Brewers games on the FSN schedule that directly conflict with Bucks games, so they have to do something with one or the other. -
I think that's pretty much guaranteed to be the lineup now, which is fine. Don't really wanna bat guys where they aren't comfortable. Now if only Roenicke would get off his stupid moving over runners from the 2 spot thing, we could flip Weeks and Morgan and that would look a lot better to me.

WMLW to offer HD beginning March 12
PrinceEatMeat replied to BradWI's topic in Milwaukee Brewers Talk
According to this it no longer matters. No more games on WMLW. "FOX Sports Wisconsin now serves as the exclusive television home for the Milwaukee Brewers, televising nearly every game not scheduled for national network TV." http://www.foxsportswisconsin.com/02/23/12/FS-Wisconsin-and-the-Milwaukee-Brewers-a/landing_brewers.html?blockID=672184&feedID=5067 -
The best news here is that WMLW will no longer carry Brewers games. "FOX Sports Wisconsin now serves as the exclusive television home for the Milwaukee Brewers, televising nearly every game not scheduled for national network TV."

I thought Prince had corn rows? If so, that's not him in the ad.

It could still happen. It's just speculated that this will push MITB off the card. Not sure if it actually will or not. I hope not, but I fear that it will.
-
http://www.wrestling-edge.com/wwe-news-rumors/john-laurinaitistheodore-long-feud-headed-otunga-bullying.html Well, this sucks. Likely no more MITB. Instead they'll have all of the guys in one big, stupid tag match. Boring. I'd rather have MITB and just have this JL/Long thing be a one-on-one match with one guy representing them. Instead it'll likely be Christian, ADR, and Henry vs. 3 faces.

Just saw a report saying that Oswalt will make a decision tomorrow. Not sure I buy it, but take it FWIW.

Random MLB News And Discussion 2012

Lol, I think most children would be terrified by that teddy bear. -
Yeah, Rhodes vs. Show would most likely suck. I'd rather see Rhodes wrestle someone he can actually have a good match with. Would've liked to see the match with Goldust go through, but that never happened.
-
I can see where you're coming from, because Adam Lambert is incredibly weird and I'm not a fan of his. But vocally he actually fits the bill pretty well. No one compares to Freddie Mercury obviously, but Adam Lambert's voice will fit pretty well with their music. I heard it was only one show though, not an entire tour. So I guess that makes it better at least.
-
Not sure why they'd give Jackson or Otunga a WrestleMania match. Otunga will get the payday because he'll be there with JL, but I'm guessing they'll pick bigger names to represent them. Especially since Otunga squashed Jackson twice already. Not sure how that'd make an intriguing matchup.

The DH is coming to the NL (pure speculation)
PrinceEatMeat replied to nate82's topic in Milwaukee Brewers Talk
Playing your normal lineup or playing a better overall player than one of your normal starters isn't a disadvantage. So for example, having Jon Lester bat instead of David Ortiz isn't a disadvantage? Ok then. The NL teams won't lose a middle of the order hitter, even though they have their pitcher batting. Most AL teams will have a 3-5 in the order bat gone and every else moved up, and a pitcher who never hits inserted into the lineup. Don't see how that's not a disadvantage. Granted this doesn't apply to every single AL team, but it applies to a lot of them, especially the ones who have a true DH. -
I don't think they'll wrestle in a one-on-one match. If anything they might be involved in a tag match, but I think it might be more like them picking guys to represent them, which wouldn't be as bad. In other news, WWE announced that Shaq won't compete at Wrestlemania. Apparently the reports that Shaq said he would were false. He never said he would wrestle, just attend the show. So I guess it's Rhodes vs Show for the IC Title then.
