  1. What you have is a B-18 Blanket from 1914. There are variations on most of the players in the set. Yours looks like its very clean from the scan. When I have more time I'll look yours up.
  2. I have to absolutely really want an item to make an offer. If there is not a price for what someone wants for their item I won't even think about purchasing it. There maybe a total of 10 things that I would make an offer, but realistically even though they are Brewers related they most likely will never be offered on this forum.
  3. I don't sell my stuff, but I still don't want it personalized. I had the Braun signed to my daughter. Eventually, someday, my stuff will be passed down to my kids (if they want it). What do they want with it personalized to me.
  4. It depends who you want to get. I also have a Sportscollectors account, but they don't tell all of the addresses. I put together TTM most of the 1970 Brewers, and am working on the 57 Braves now. Some players have only had a handful of requests via what was posted on SportsCollectors. I only go for higher return rates as I only send OMLB's. Sometimes I send a letter first asking if they are willing to sign. My best returns are HOFers... Billy Williams, Feller, Sparky Anderson, Dick Williams, Doerr, Fingers, Perry, Kaline, Snider, etc. My best active player would be Mariano Rivera.
  5. http://www.sportsaddresslists.com/
  6. Braun signed on the sweetspot for me at the winter warm-up in January or February of 2008. He would not do an inscription.
  7. Imagine that...No Prince Fielder. What a shocker.
  8. I agree with Joey. I will have to see if there are any on ccompleted auctions on my other computer. If I bid on it it should be on there.
  9. I went to the Rob Deer signing, and he was great. He was very personable and quite talkative. Deer has also kept himself in great shape. I had him sign a 1987 Sports Illustrated and a baseball for me.
  10. Mikita Sports is doing a private signing the same day with Braun.
  11. Apparently it will be on channel 122 on Time Warner in my area. MLB designed a channel locator at http://mlbnetwork.mlb.com/network/index.jsp
  12. They had them at the Fan Zone for $5 each. You should have posted earlier.
  13. I would also buy, if you have the money, an anniversary ring right away. This way it will match the engagement and wedding rings, so you won't have a problem later.
  14. I like the idea that they are charging to get in and some autographs. It limits the people from bring their entire family to get autographs. Like, having their 6 month old child in a car seat getting an autograph. I don't know if its though out well enough of how they are going to go through the process of charging. I understand the Brewers won't know who will for sure will be there **cough, cough Prince Fielder cough, cough** As for the autograph Fridays I like the concept Its just not fair for everyone. I was at one of the Braun friday night auto games, and I ate at Friday's before the game. There were over 50 people in line for Braun even before the gates opened. How does that happen? As for the Block parties, other than the Whitefish Bay one that a friend was at the workers seem to have no idea whats going on. Its set up way too late.
  15. I always add 5-10 percent to that total as I believe some people put in their items that they send, but don't necessarily enter in when they get something back.
  16. Ron Fairly was the main player on that team. He played 21 years in the majors and is a broadcaster. Rex Johnston was a 2 sport player playing professionally in 1960 with the Pittsburgh Steelers and in 1964 with the Pittsburgh Pirates. I didn't look through it, but you could go player by player if there was any other MLB players from that team http://usctrojans.cstv.co...bl/auto_pdf/Baseball-Pros
  17. You should try to email USC athletic department and ask them if they have a roster.
  18. The auto looks good, but its his quick signing version. It was probably signed in person while signing for a bunch of other people. Oglivie is relatively reliable TTM. You probably could get a nice looking auto for only a couple of bucks.
  19. Do you have Pena on a ball? I'm not sure how long on Hovely, but he hasn't signed since 2004. Marshall Edwards has become a lot easier the last couple of years. He has done some signings. I'm working on Dave May right now. Even Mike Marshall has had a couple of signings recently.
  20. There are a couple deceased like a Roberto Pena and Dan Thomas. There are also living players such as Bernie Smith and Steve Hovley that are much harder than Vuckovich.
