Sorry to say, I was a child in the early 80's when the recession hit and what they feel like. I couldn't play Little League nor could I play organized football when I was 10-12 years old. We didn't have the money, and without help from relatives couldn't pay the mortgage. I remember going at night after local softball games and locals fairs picking up aluminum cans to help put food on the table. To this day, I can't eat grilled cheese or hotdogs. I used the government cheese boxes to store my baseball cards. My wife thinks I was nuts when I used to be a bit frugal, and made sure I had an indespensible job. Thankfully, my kids don't need to have to go through this.

Yes, Waukesha Sportscards has at least a few of them. I went out there today to buy some 8x10's. You mean if Fielder actually shows up!?! I'll be there at 7am.

I already have McGehee on a ball, but I would rather wait until the end of the season and get the ROY inscription to go with it http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif But, we all know Legends or someone will ruin it for us by having an exclusive.

I didn't think there was that many people. I was able to get through 3 lines and there was still 5 minutes left. It was ran smoothly by what the Brewers usually do. They should have put the wristbands on the people instead of handing them to the people to put on themselves. There were people that had multiple wristbands...almost like they were showing a "band of courage"

Just the 2 versions...regular and talking.

They're not work that much anymore. When the Brewers did their rummage sales from the County Stadium storage area there must have been cases upon cases of those. The programs sell for about $10. At the rummage sale I picked up a few for either 50 cents or a dollar.

I was able to get a Gallardo 8x10, Hart 8x10, Narveson ball, DiFelice ball, Kyles ball, and Gerut ball with his ROY inscription.

What do you mean people started lining up for Fielder. Do they do the Friday's different this year. Do you line up for the player you want?
  11. BrewersSuperCollector
Do you accept local pick up to save on the shipping charges? And, if so, where abouts would that be?

How many different versions of the 2001/02 bobble heads are there for Jenkins, Uecker, Yount, Sexson, Sheets, and Aaron. Also what difference are there to make them noticable. I know each year came as a 3 pack through a Pepsi offer.

I have about 700 sq feet of space for that room plus about 150 sq feet for an office thats cluttered right now with boxes and such. That room will hand my Seagram's baseball mirrors when I get it done. The fireplace hasn't been used the last few years because of my children, but I think I will get it up and running again this winter. I tried to make it something like the Green Monster.

I wouldn't do it. If you ever looked to sell the hat it would make it much harder to sell with Niekro on there also.

http://www.sportsaddresslists.com/baseball.html www.sportscollectors.net is also a greaT source for success percentages. It's a $15 a year membership I believe, but you'll save much more than that on postage to players that won't sign.

http://i271.photobucket.com/albums/jj144/brhack/002.jpg This was the best picture I could get without all the glare. Dan McGann and Stoney McGlynn are the other T206 Brewers. I know I have one of them somewhere, but I haven't gotten around to sorting the last couple of years worth of purchases yet.
  21. BrewersSuperCollector
The T206's are Randall and Shad Barry. The George Scott print was done by an artist, John Gehring, that sets up at the Gonzaga Hall show. He made the prints when Scott was coming for a signing.

    I've showed this on a couple of sites, so you can ignore if you've seen it. MOD's, if this is too large for the site please remove. i don't know how to shrink it. http://i271.photobucket.com/albums/jj144/brhack/042.jpg http://i271.photobucket.com/albums/jj144/brhack/043.jpg http://i271.photobucket.com/albums/jj144/brhack/006.jpg http://i271.photobucket.com/albums/jj144/brhack/007.jpg http://i271.photobucket.com/albums/jj144/brhack/009.jpg http://i271.photobucket.com/albums/jj144/brhack/010.jpg http://i271.photobucket.com/albums/jj144/brhack/011.jpg http://i271.photobucket.com/albums/jj144/brhack/012.jpg http://i271.photobucket.com/albums/jj144/brhack/013.jpg http://i271.photobucket.com/albums/jj144/brhack/014.jpg http://i271.photobucket.com/albums/jj144/brhack/015.jpg http://i271.photobucket.com/albums/jj144/brhack/016.jpg http://i271.photobucket.com/albums/jj144/brhack/017.jpg http://i271.photobucket.com/albums/jj144/brhack/018.jpg http://i271.photobucket.com/albums/jj144/brhack/019.jpg http://i271.photobucket.com/albums/jj144/brhack/021.jpg http://i271.photobucket.com/albums/jj144/brhack/022.jpg http://i271.photobucket.com/albums/jj144/brhack/023.jpg http://i271.photobucket.com/albums/jj144/brhack/025.jpg http://i271.photobucket.com/albums/jj144/brhack/027.jpg http://i271.photobucket.com/albums/jj144/brhack/028.jpg http://i271.photobucket.com/albums/jj144/brhack/030.jpg http://i271.photobucket.com/albums/jj144/brhack/031.jpg

The Block Parties are up now, and there is only one per day. Instead of somewhat organized chaos it will probably be a free for all. Twice as many people at one park.
  24. BrewersSuperCollector
Did Yovani look like a rock star while he was there. I was able to get him at a Sentry signing last year and as he walked up he looked like a rock star with all the bling on.
  25. BrewersSuperCollector
Phil Roof will be at the next Gonzaga show.
