  1. Enough of them. There will be a handful that think they are Rodgers away from a SB. I'm not really concerned with Rodgers being tradable. I think some people might be thinking the return would be more grand than reality, though.
  2. I think pretty much everybody thought Adams was bluffing. Honestly though, probably a bullet that we dodged there. We would have been better this season, but I'm not sure we need more of those deals right now.
  3. I'm reluctant to do the MLF/Love thing. We've really got to commit to something. The past 5 years have been marred in half measures. Trying to be sustainable but trying to win now. Planning for the future but appeasing our old QB. I think you gotta do something drastic, either make this Love's team or do some really aggressive work in the office and put all your eggs in the 'now' basket (trading picks, whatever) to shore up the biggest weaknesses and give it one more go. The Rams are a mess but they got their 'ship. I think most would agree that we wish we were the Rams with 2 recent SBs and a win.
  4. Walker is clearly the most egregious offender and was correctly tossed. However I do think the trainer was engaging in a bit of gamesmanship. Wouldn't be at all surprised if that was a strategic love tap knowing that it would get under Walker's skin. I'm sure all opponents are well aware of his short fuse and there is definitely precedent for trainers to be "part of the game plan." There is definitely a distinction between team doctors and team trainers. Wyatt, meh. They were both getting aggressive with each other at that point and he brushed up against the trainer. I think stretching it as far to say they're bad draft picks is, yeah, a stretch.
  5. I know everyone's upset and Rodgers had a poor season. But there's a lot of hyperbolic reactions. Not saying that Love is the wrong direction at all. But (put the pitchforks down) I don't think this team is really far away from contention. They've got some talent, especially youngins on the offensive side who just weren't at that level yet. That's all to say I'm not gonna carry a torch one way or the other. If Rodgers gives it one more go I don't think he's washed up or useless. It's hard to give mulligans at 39, but there was a LOT going on this season that caused a good deal of turmoil. It'll be interesting to see how it plays out and I'm open to whatever route we're going.
  6. Actually not true. I looked it up cus I thought this too. Clock doesn't start inside of 5 minutes even if the penalty is declined. It's an inexcusable decision from MLF.
  7. It is clearly very close lol but we are both pretty middling. They perhaps have more to be excited about.
  8. Good for the Lions honestly. Didn't lay down and gave the Packers what they deserved.
  9. Is that right? I thought if it's declined the clock winds again and goes down to 2:00.
  10. I heard that nose was so hard one night in particular, it guided Santa's sleigh.
  11. Winning is more fun than losing but that was about as flimsy we a 4 game winning streak can be.
  12. That throw was whatever. It was 3rd and 10n and absolutely nothing there so why not chuck it. It was a perfect defensive play call. We aren't good. Weren't all year. I'd have taken another week of football but eh. Good for Geno Smith I guess.
  13. Let's be honest. I think I said this last weekend, but this is an EXTREMELY fitting way to close this year out.
  14. This isn't over yet but man, Rodgers ain't Rodgers this season.
  15. Weird spot to be in. So many years of total calm in this spot because Rodgers could score 3 TDs in 8 minutes. Not so much anymore..
  16. Sort of how I feel lol but you still hope they win. A bit like watching your kid's really bad team play.
  17. I truly am mystified by the decision to kick that FG. I have a tough time believing the nerd chart would have advised that either and even if it did, I wouldn't have done it. That was almost no reward with an extremely high risk.
  18. Complete opposite of the first decision to go for it, which was dumb, they really should have gone for it there. Risk/reward analysis on a 53 yard fg with an old kicker that puts you up 6...seems obvious to me but I'm not a ball coach.
  19. I don't think the NFL players you speak of are worried about "getting curbstomped" next week.
  20. I couldn't care less about next week. There's joy in making the playoffs. Just do that.
  21. We're doing that thing where the game is one score the entire time and then suddenly we get a punt blocked or something and are in real trouble.
