  1. Garry Howard is a clown, always has been, always will be. He can't write. How he is the editor of one of the best sports pages in the country is a testament to some of their writers, not him. It's a shame they are looped in with that turkey. Prince Fielder is gone. Opening Day 2012, there is no chance he's in a Brewer uniform. There were a lot of people who thought CC Sabathia might look in his heart and sign with the Brewers. Fielder signing here is just as absurd. Just be glad we drafted him and enjoy watching him this year. There's no way he signs long term with the Brewers. None.
  2. People will definitely be showing up early to get that bobblehead. I bet it goes for at least $30 or so in the week following the game on eBay. The Windell Middlebrooks (the black High Life dude) bobble goes for basically a minimum of $40 on eBay. I've seen it go up to about $100.
  3. Wow. That's going to be a hot one. Checking IDs at the turnstyle for a bobblehead??? Totally missed it, too. Thanks.

I'm trying to sell this. Comes with the display case you see in the picture. Pretty decent case. Obviously authentic, comes with all his seals and stuff. I got it originally as a Legends item. The sig is not at all faded if it appears that way, those are just the pictures. I'll also include these mags as a bonus. One Two Obviously those aren't my exact magazines, but mine are in great shape, I've kept them sealed in folders since I bought them. This is a better item than a regular mini with his signature, as it has rare decals, is numbered and comes with all the authenticity stuff. With the magazines and case, I'm thinking $100-150 for the package. Let me know if any of you still like the one who shall remain nameless.

  6. Maybe. I guess there is no way to know. Melvin is a pretty crappy giveaway, but I think it still would have been sold out if there wasn't a Packer game that day. I had four tickets to that game, and after all of my friends backed out, I used all four on myself to get the bobbles, then went home to watch the Packers. I'm sure a lot of people didn't even bother showing up.
  7. Not a fair sample. The Brewers were well out of contention, and the game had the exact same start time as the Packers 2nd game. If the Brewers were still in the race, that game would have sold out as well.
  8. Sorry, but I don't think the Brewers need bobbleheads to sell out Sunday matinee games. There was a time where they needed them. But with the stars on the roster now, Miller Park Sunday is basically an all-day party that will be sold out no matter what. I think the bobbleheads now only exist because the sponsors will pay a lot of money to put their name on something most people won't trash, and will be seen before a giant crowd. In the past, the bobbleheads brought fans to the park. Now, I think it's more that the fans are brining the bobbleheads and the sponsors to the park. I think it's pretty clear that if you put even a decent, .500 team in Milwaukee with a few exciting players, fans will come out in droves to support them. Miami and Atlanta we are not. They certainly don't need retros to sell out those games, and I don't even think they need bobbleheads at all.
  9. Trying not to jinx it, but I think the Brewers were really starting to get sick of all the crap with the alternates. People doing everything to get one at the gate, positioning themselves in certain lines, playing games at the turnstyle, asking for a different one, the selling and buying in the lot, selling a free promotional item on eBay for $40, etc. I think a lot of the fans were sick of it too, and I think it finally started to make its way to the promotions crew. So I think (hoping) that they just axed it, finally.
  10. Noticing the trend here? It looks like none of the bobbleheads will have alternates. You have the four "moment" bobbleheads, Bernie Brewer, and the last one would be the remaining racing sausage. They usually do six per season. I hope I'm right.
  11. I don't get what they're thinking to be honest. Whenever they give away a Brewer there is a line into the parking lot. When they do these relative nobodies, you can pretty much show up before game time and you will get a bobble. They draw way more people when they give away a Brewer player.
  12. Just think of how much classier this signing makes the Brewers!!
  13. Richie Sexson, the only other Brewer one they made, also has a floating home plate.
  14. I'm not going to complain because they never make Brewers figures, but it's a bit disappointing they're making a second Fielder and Braun still doesn't have one. This one is almost identical to the other Fielder just wearing a different uniform. I also wish they would put Yount or Molitor in the Cooperstown series but I guess we'll have to wait. I was really thinking Braun would get one this year though. http://images.yuku.com/image/jpeg/1851683fb62daeb864f384974d384893c273d3e1.jpghttp://images.yuku.com/image/jpeg/b91262b3ceb072dfaefb336c7190864df1b7a5e5.jpghttp://images.yuku.com/image/jpeg/08d262e38bbbc24baa0bcd6297a4af3f9ce686c3.jpghttp://images.yuku.com/image/jpeg/8e816137ba24aeb665b1928aed2c181bf8a92f0d.jpg
  15. Anyone interested please email me at dooley644@gmail.com Also, the photos that I have are SIGNED. All of them are also framed. They are a mix of Packers and Brewers, role players and stars.
  16. Hey guys, I will be getting back to you on this soon. Have just been swamped. Thanks.
  17. Hey guys, I don't have time to respond to all the PMs right now, but I went through and took out the bobbles that aren't available. List should be accurate now.
  18. Just realized nothing came out in bold, not sure why, but most of this stuff I have, there are only a few I don't.
  19. So basically I've run into hard times. Medical bills, car payments, etc. It really breaks my heart to lose any of this stuff, but you gotta do what you gotta do. Maybe in the future I'll get it back. This is just a copy and paste from my own inventory sheet. The bold ones are bobbleheads I do NOT have. I'm doing this to gauge interest. For now I need to see what I might be able to get for my collection. Pictures of all of them are available. Most have boxes but some do not. PM for more info. I'm not putting prices by anything - I'm pretty sure everyone here knows what fair offers are on most of these items. I also have hundreds of Packers and Brewers framed 8x10s, 16x20s I may sell if I need to. You are better off asking if I have a player than waiting for me to list them, because I probably have it. A mini helmet signed by Brett Favre OMLBs signed by Fielder, Weeks Hardy, Braun (inscribed), Hart, Cameron, La Porta, Torres, Gallardo, Parra, Gamel, Brewers 5 HR in an inning poster...there's a lot of stuff here. 20. They would have to be shipped to one spot, then shipped out/picked up from there. BTW, let me know if you get your bobble today, I think it's odd because I sent out another item to another BF member that morning, and neither of you has gotten it.
  21. How about some kind of fan-themed bobble to celebrate back-to-back 3 million attendance?
  22. Shoulda been, now there is.
  23. Just check out the link in the first post and go to the Lions. It will show you which ones they have available.
  24. Base on Balls leader sounds like the lamest thing ever to celebrate.
