  1. Gary. completely off my radar. I literally know nothing about him...
  2. FYI, CBS Sports is broadcasting online at: https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/2019-nfl-draft-grades-and-analysis-for-every-first-round-pick/ Very few commercials.
  3. I'm hoping for Sweat (assuming the Packers are good with the health) or trade back of possible.
  4. I’d hate to pass on a talent like that, but I’m still worried about the heart condition that may or may not exist. "Sweating" was meant as a double meaning: Anxious to get to draft him; anxious if we do draft him. I guess I'll trust the GB doctors to know better.
  5. Touche'. Often the next means that the person won't come close. It's hard to become a HOF player.
  6. I thought "the next Favre" is a good thing!
  7. I think nearly everyone would've predicted that he was available at NYG's #17 though. Maybe they know something, but this puts a lot of pressure on the youngster.
  8. There goes Allen. Maybe the Lions will take an RB...
  9. It's a good day to not be a NYG fan.
  10. 1.12 - Rashan Gary, DE/OLB Michigan 1.211 - Darnell Savage, S Maryland 1.301 2.44 - Elgton Jenkins, C/G Mississippi State 3.75 - Jace Sternberger, TE Texas A&M 4.1141 4.1181 5.150 - Kingsley Keke, DE Texas A&M 6.185 - Ka'dar Hollman, CB Toledo 6.194 - Dexter Williams, RB Notre Dame 7.226 - Alex Summers, LB Texas Christian UDFA: Yosh Nijman, OT Virginia Tech Manny Wilkins, QB Arizona State Randy Ramsey, EDGE Arkansas Greg Roberts, EDGE Baylor Javien Hamilton, DB Ole Miss Kabion Ento, WR Colorado Davis Koppenhaver, TE Duke Curtis Bolton, ILB Oklahoma Matt Eaton, WR Iowa State Larry Williams, OL Oklahoma State Nydair Rouse, DB West Chester 1 Trade with Seattle 1.21 for 1.30, 4.114 and 4.118
  11. White to TB. Worst secret in the draft. Nearly every draft had that one pegged.
  12. Hock was my original #12 pick crush back in January, so I've done quite a bit of reading about him. He was white hot for a while but cooled after the combine (from the perspective of people writing about him/mocking him). More recently, it seems that writers were summarizing him as I mentioned. Just so he doesn't fall down to the Vikings... lots of discussion in MN about him here. If Oliver isn't at #12, Hock would be my second choice. If they take him at #12, I wouldn't complain. An ideal spot would be to drop down to 16 and pick up a pick with Hock. Not sure if my crystal ball is working tonight or not though...
  13. No offense patrickgpe, but if you don't like speculation about the draft, why are you here conversing about it? Some of us like being armchair GMs.
  14. I don't know how you could know this. There are so many mock drafts, he has been all over the place, like just about every player besides the top 10(ish). Besides it only takes one team to say yes and it doesn't matter what his draft "stock" is. Also no team is saying anything, so we don't know anybody's draft stock. I've seen mocks with Bush to the packers at 12 and at 30. That shows just one example of the variety of opinion. [sarcasm]I can not reveal my sources.[/sarcasm] The simple answer is that I don't know this. Welcome to an online forum where we share opinions. I'm paying more attention to the trends than the actual picks themselves. Initially Hock and Fant rocketed up the mocks (Hock in top 10 and Fant at #5???). More recently, they seem to be cooling again (e.g. I'm seeing Hock in the teens and Fant at #30 more often recently). Same with Bush. Early on he was around #30 (or even second round). I've not seen a recent one with him under #20. Not claiming any accuracy in that, but its what I watch. Also, traditionally TEs don't go top 15 unless they are really special. Hock is described as "complete" but might be maxed out (i.e. high floor/low ceiling). If he had Fant's speed, he'd probably be top 10. So I'm thinking Hock in the #15-20 range and Fant in the #20-30 range.
  15. I was just about to post the same. I didn't see Brown's second "elbow", but the one to Blake was a phantom.
  16. Paid $60 for my Brewers MLB subscription and watching Brewers/Cardinals on my phone. Streaming the Bucks/Pistons from reddit NBA streams for free on my laptop (cast to my TV). So much better than cable....
  17. I'd be ok with 16 teams in the playoffs, but I'd prefer if: 1) They play every other day 2) They play 3 first round, 5 second, and 7 from there. Yes, it's all about $$$, but good grief this is slow and long.
  18. Well, beyond the Bear comment, we have the opposite opinion. I think Hock's stock has drastically cooled. I think he is a great fit for the Packers, but I'd rather see him in the 18-20 pick range (i.e. trade down). I picked Sweat as I think he is the most likely person to be selected at #12 (I don't think the heart issue is anything big). Oliver is my first choice, but I don't think he will be there.
  19. How does one "flop" on offense? Someone should tell Blake that it isn't working...
  20. I thought Blake was going to clock someone off the bench the last two games also.
  21. Yes, hopefully, this series goes in 4 so we don't have anyone on Detroit taking a cheap shot at someone.
  22. I tried to pick the popular mock picks (both from the professionals here and the paid amateurs like Kiper). The goal is to predict who will land with the Packers, not necessarily who you want. Good Luck!
  23. I'd guess any riser/fallers occurring now is based more on rumors of who likes whom... of course, those could also be smoke-screens or Russia collusion.
  24. Pat C reminds me of Darvin Ham a little, except Darvin had no 3ptr and Pat doesn't quite have Ham's thunder dunks. But a highly athletic, fan-favorite, more-value-to-us-than-other-teams type player. Ha! After writing that I just googled him to make sure I spelled his name right and found out he is one of our assistant coaches. I had no idea.
