  1. I'm not picking on you or anything, but that is one of the weirdest typos I've seen.
  2. The vast majority of people assume both leave when they make an off-season plan.
  3. And then he left and everyone forgot about the Bulls. The Bears were more popular before, they're more popular now, and they might have even been more popular during. Remember the Bucks back in 2001? Everyone was into the Bucks that year and now they could care less. There will be times when teams have highs, but it all levels out. In Wisconsin the Packers will always be #1. This state is even an exception to most. In one year the Bucks could win the NBA Championship, the Brewers could win the World series, the Badgers could win the National Championship, and the Packers could go 8-8 and people would still probably care the most about the Packers.
  4. I used to make so many jokes about the Reds having Todd Coffey as their closer. If that happens for us I will be very sad.
  5. Not at all unexpected results, but how exactly do they get these numbers?
  6. I sold my PSP in May because I never used it. From first hand experience I can tell you that the games in general suck and definitely wouldn't be appealing to younger kids save one or two. DS would be the way to go for their ages. If you know what you're doing with computers you can actually do a lot of cool things with a PSP, but for what you're looking for the DS seems to fit your needs more.
  7. I would much rather do that. What would we want Escobar to turn into? An allstar short stop. What is JJ Hardy? An allstar short stop. What we'd hope for Escobar to be JJ already is, why mess with it when we already have what we want there. I think people on here are too high on Escobar because they've been following him as a prospect and now want to see him succeed in the majors. He's a good prospect no doubt, but Hardy's already a proven major leaguer.
  8. Isn't his best defensive attribute his range. That'd be put to good use at second, especially with how little range Prince has.
  9. I hope not. Hardy is the #1 position player I want signed longterm. I know people on here love Escobar and while I like him a lot too I'd trade him before Hardy. It'd be great if we can get both in the infield some how though. I think Hardy at third makes sense, but I'd rather have Hardy at short and Escobar at second. I don't know why that scenario is never brought up.
  10. Is anyone looking to get rid of Packer tickets to go to or just watch the Brewers game. I know someone looking to buy so reply in this thread if you are.
  11. Last Saturday the Brewers game was during the Badger game. Last Sunday the Brewers game was during the Packer game. This Saturday the Brewers game was during the Badger game This Sunday the Brewers game will be during the Packer game Grrr
  12. My first thought was the obvious one in Uecker, but Sheets would be kind of cool. He has been with us this whole time up to the playoffs and now that we're finally here he can't play. This way he can at least say he threw a pitch in the post season with the Brewers.
  13. I'm more interested in the bullpen situation. Do we try McClung at closer eventhough he hasn't closed a game all year and was even a starter for most of it? Villanueva perhaps? Does that push Torres to pitch the 8th? What's Parra's role? Do we even risk a Gagne blow up?
  14. Just watch the game for class. If a principal or anyone has a problem with it just tell him you're teaching them the rules of baseball. Anyone know what you text to get scoring updates as I too will miss the whole first game and most of the second http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/frown.gif
  15. I am a Ben Sheets fan, but I wouldn't even consider resigning him anymore. He has pitched his last game as a Brewer yesterday.
  16. This one wasn't too bad
  17. Terrence Taylor is 6' 318 pounds and he has a body type that is much closer to Prince than Dumervil does. This is Dumervil with his shirt off http://extras.mnginteractive.com/live/media/site36/2007/1109/20071109__20071111_B12_SP11FBNINTERVIEW~p1_200.JPG Now I've never seen Prince topless, but I'd guess he'd look a bit different. This is Terrence Taylor http://img471.imageshack.us/img471/3908/talyor3ld9.jpg
  18. I like MLB 2k8 more than any of the EA baseball games anyways. I know people always rave about MVP 2005, but it's overrated. It sucks EA got the College BB liscense though. College Hoops was so much better than March Madness.
  19. Might as well. After this season it's not our problem if his arm is hurting. I'll take as much CC in a Brewers uniform as we can get.
  20. Hooray! As happy as am that Ned's gone that will go away if Sveum is our manager next year. The whole coaching staff needs to follow Ned out the door.
  21. I'd start Warner and Rodgers.
  22. Packers all the way. I will not even touch the remote until the game is over.
  23. I wouldn't mind seeing more of Danielle Lawrie at Miller Park.
