  1. True but it did have the Brewers at 89 wins last year. Granted not they we all predicted lol Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. We will see on Monday but it appears PECOTA is not going to be a fan of the Brewers. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. To me if Corey Ray would have worked out I think we could trade at the end of this year. Now I think we should wait until the end of 2021 and see what the new CBA brings. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Given the Betts trade last night would keeping Yellich through 2021 be worth it. Is the equivalent of Verdugo/Graterol enough to keep the Brewers competitive in 2022? Or is it better to get more prospects after this season? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. This is my one major concern going into the 2020 season. I think the other offensive spots are good enough to contend. Hopefully someone outperforms whats expected.
  6. The DH to the NL is coming but my suspicion is that it will be 2022. They will make part of the new CBA arguing it will help player salaries. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. The one thing is that will help is that they will be mixing and matching the lineup so that each batter will only face the style of pitchers they have had success against. Platoon splits, some hitters are better against hard stuff vs slow stuff etc. Arcia will play when ground ball pitchers are on the mound etc. So basically Sterns and Counsell are tasked with maximizing the upside of the ranges for each player. That is at least the plan as I see it.

  9. I like the Woodruff idea lol. I think those are a little hopeful for Smoak and Braun. I hope I am wrong. I agree though the runs scored last year was too low. Hopefully getting an offense with less K’s will increase the overall goal of runs scored. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. The way the roster is currently constructed is there enough power in the lineup to truly contend? I dont think the Brewers will be in the top half in HR’s this year. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Redskins would have to go first Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. The game played out as planned. Unfortunately Hader didnt execute Saturday night or Tuesday night. That being said add on runs can take pressure off a bullpen. You cant expect Hader to be perfect everytime. 3 runs usually wont win games against good offenses. Great season overall. Hader and Knebel (assuming be comes back healthy) is a deadly combo. 13. I think Houser Woodruff Davies are locks for rotation if healthy. Burnes should be as well. I am guessing Suter will be the 5. You almost have to let Burnes go for 2 months and see how he does. Too much potential. Helps free up money to figure out C,SS,3b. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. A lot of their “A” players are hurt. Playing hungry younger guys might end up helping the Brewers. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Small chance. I would say. But its not zero. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  17. What a collapse and mess the Cubs are right now. Wow Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. To be fair I dont think Maddon was right to throw him into high leverage like that straight off the IL. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. -.7 fWAR in 22 appearances or so. Impressive lol Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. I personally think WAR is a great tool to compare one player to another. Projections are great but they cant take into account injuries and if bad teams start playing young players/pitchers. That could easily allow for 1-2 more wins in 2 weeks.
  21. He can be a good number 3 starter in my opinion. He is young and learning. I would keep him in the rotation in 2020. If he fails then bullpen is always an option. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. I think they will need to add starters or rely on Burnes to bounce back. Next September they wont be able to pull starters so early as rosters only expand to 28. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. Confirmed by Robert Murray. All I can say is every fracture is different you cant lump all fractures the same. This is overall the best news possible. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. It will heal in 6 weeks. You have to get back into playing shape after. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  25. Really the variance in time comes from how long it takes for him to regain his quad strength and his range of motion. Also if he has a lot a swelling after the fracture heals it will slow down recovery time. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
