  1. Except to me Cain will not be as good in 2020 and 2021. I think next is a year they might push hard. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. The Cubs run differential is double of ours. They are the better team. We have a chance in the division of course but the wild card is our best bet. I think MLB network has been pretty fair to the Brewers the last two years. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. I think they have to leave Woodruff stretched out though Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Philly’s defense really is terrible too. I am surprised they are in first. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Thames for Harper? Too much? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. My concern is that he gets in a rehab assignment before the minor league season is over. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. I cant believe Perez and his .289 OBP survives. Counsell must just love him Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Ah. Thanks. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. They would most likely include Happ, Russell or possibly Schwarber if Bryant has long term shoulder issues and has to move to LF. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Sterns also did not pull the trigger on Gray, Quintana and Darvish. Even Arrieta would be questionable. I look forward to a rotation of Nelson, Anderson, Burnes, Peralta, Chacin, Guerra/Woodruff/Davies/Ortiz in 2019. Some of those guys could be packaged for Degrom or a Realmuto. I like the direction of the team. No GM is perfect, but so far I give him an "A" grade.
  11. You can fire Coles, but thats not gonna change when you Saladino hitting 5th and Kratz playing one half the games. You could blame him for Arcia and Santana, but if reports are true Arcia needed an attitude adjustment. I am not sure that is on Coles. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Its a good article. I will say the DRA/ERA difference is all of the defense. Bringing back Arcia wont make as much difference for the fly ball pitchers. I want Arcia back because he is hitting better. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Whats the rotation coming out of the break? Havn't seen starters announced. Chase, Chacin, Peralta, Miley, Suter? Have no clue when Davies or Guerra will be ready to pitch. Would prefer Suter to pen and Woodruff to start but who knows what they are thinking.
  14. Interesting thing is signing Cain for 5 years. Ray wont be playing center for a few years at least. Is he good enough for RF? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Machado pulled from his game. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. How about the fact that he doesnt get regular at bats? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. I understand all the rumors with Machado to the Cubs. The thing is Cubs offense is good. They are second in the league in runs scored playing 4/5 less games than the Brewers. I am not sure that is the direction that team needs to go. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. Is there a concern on how he throws across his body? He is 21 he certainly can gain control. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. Woodruff needs to start for on a regular rotation for 2 months. He has great stuff and reminds me of Nelson when he was younger. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. Surprised it wasnt Woodruff and call up another starter. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. I am no hitting coach (maybe someone with baseball experience and coaching can correct me) but doesnt it seem like Arcia’s left foot pulls out when he swings? Its like he lifts his left foot which causes him to lose a lot of power and the ability to go right field? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. Not so sure about the Dodgers. They are getting hit hard with injuries. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. In today's game, stealing doesnt happen as much as it did in the past. a .789 OPS from the catching position would help a ton for the offense. I think you can rest him with teams that run often.
  24. Optioning Santana wouldn’t clear a 40 man though. I doubt they would option him since its only been a month. He had a bad April last year too. The whole Woodruff thing confuses me. The guy to me can be really good. Just needs better command. His stuff is good. Putting him in the bullpen doesn’t seem like the best way for him to grow. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  25. Yes I am old enough to remember Rollie going 3 innings for saves. Makes a lot of sense I just hope these guys can handle this kind of workload through September. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
