  1. His defense has usually been good strange the metric last year. This is from what I saw on FanGraphs. I think he would be a great fit, but the money is always the issue.
  2. Love the positivity 🤣
  3. I get it. But none of those are proven. Woody coming off injury unsigned. Freddy last year of contract. Brewers always are thinking 8 starters for a season minimum. I am excited to see the young guys come up and to see if Priester can improve.
  4. I believe Priester is more about 2026. They are potentially losing Woody, Civale, Nestor and Quintana. Priester if developed is a cheap replacement.
  5. Actually will want Cubs to beat Dodgers and Phillies for us 😂
  6. Powder blues are the best! Love it when Marquette wears them too.
  7. The guy has has some bad luck. Really looking forward to see what he can do with the bat. His defense is really good
  8. Problem with Woody is his age. In that study the younger pitchers did better. Urias from the Dodgers had something similar as did Ashby. Let see how Ashby does. Urias obvious returned at a high level and will be out of baseball for other reasons.
  9. I expect this too especially with Hall and Ashby probably being limited to 120 innings or so.
  10. Not similar in labrum vs capsule and cause of injury, but similar surgical procedure and rehab. Anterior labral repair includes repairing the capsule. In Woody’s they are “tightening up the capsule” in essence repairing it.
  11. Do we know if Arnold is staying or wants to stay? His contract ends this year too.
  12. The starters will be interesting. My assumption is Burnes is traded and Woody recovering from surgery. My guess Woody wouldn't pitch in majors until August if surgery and recovery works. You would have Freddy Houser Gasser Ashby (unknown how he will be) maybe Miley (cant expect more than 120 innings) . Rea has to be resigned. Carlos Rodriguez in June? Who knows who they add or trade for with the OF surplus.
  13. Interesting enough for Brewers by skipping Woody and Freddy this weekend could you mess with the order and start Woody game one and if you win Freddy game 2? You then have Corbin for game 3 or game 1 in LA. He could then have 2 starts against the Dodgers?
  14. Question if it is indeed the Marlins we face does Weimer make it over Mitchell? Marlins have a lot of LHP relievers.
  15. They needed another defender on the infield. Keston would get called if they eventually decide to DFA Winker. Cant have 2 non-defensive players on the 26
  16. You are skewing statistics to suit your argument. Now let me try. I am almost positive that DHonks is referring to JJ's last three appearances, where he's pitched a total of 3 2/3 innings of 1-hit ball. Small sample to be sure, but there's no denying that he has looked better over the last week. Those innings basically coincide with the return of the split-change to his repertoire. I would not be shocked if he turned it around with the way that pitch has been looking since he un-retired it during the Pittsburgh game. Definitely giving me hope again! The question is why he abandoned it in the first place?
  17. I wonder if this means Burnes will be stretched out to start? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. The negative to me is that Fauria and Black out of options next year and Pomeranz a FA in 2 months. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
