  1. Counsell wont happen, it looks like he is going to San Diego. Counsell to Padres
  2. Does Aquino have any options left, if not Sarfate may be odd man out in that scenario. Edit: I checked the 40 man roster page here and it doesn't show any options, not sure if it is accurate since the transaction just happened a couple days ago.
  3. I've been going over it the last few days as well and I would have to agree with Baseball God as well. However, I fully anticipate that by the end of next week we will not be dealing with the same group of players either.
  4. The same website is now reporting this as not correct. Someone got bad info and they ran with it.
  5. Yes Cordero!!!! What a save! We needed that.
  6. So Gross is Helms part 2. Yost takes any opprtunity to get him in the game even though Hart has a much hotter bat. This is a perfect opportunity to get Hart some starts and Yost is not taking advantage.
  7. Line-ups Jenkins moved to 7th spot tonight and Hall in the 3 hole. D. Eckstein ss S. Taguchi cf S. Rolen 3b J. Encarnacion rf S. Spiezio 1b H. Luna lf Y. Molina c A. Miles 2b Mulder p Weeks 2b Cirillo 3b Hall ss Lee lf Fielder 1b Miller c Jenkins rf Clark cf de la Rosa p edited to include lineup
  8. I was thinking the same thing earlier about Hall starting today. Too hot to sit and Hardy just sat. With Brady still struggling and the pitching matchup appearing to be in our favor seems to be the time to do it. Although his defense has looked pretty good so far in his limited action out there. Go Billy and GO BREWERS!
  9. A win today would be nice. Looking at the schedule before the season started I though a 13-12 month would be a reasonable goal. 14-11 would be even better obviously, so GO BREWERS!!!!
  10. According to Bill Schroeder on WSSP a few minutes ago, the lineup is as follows: CF Clark ss Hardy RF Jenkins LF Lee 1B FIELDER 2b Hall 3B Koskie c Moeller P Sheets Looks like Fielder is back to 5 and Weeks sits in favor of Hall.
  11. I can't help but be very disappointed about tonights loss. It just always seems that we only have pitching going or hitting. Never both at the same time. I guess it is just frustrating. Especially with Lee out for the cubs. I would really like the Brewers to take some steps forward. I know it's early, again just frustrating.
  12. I Must admit I was wrong when I saw the starting lineup. I was worried, especially with Prince out. Ned proved me wrong. Can't wait to get home and hopefully keep our good home record going.
  13. Lee and Eyre have left the Cubs game with injuries.
  14. Call me crazy, but Prince is swinging a hot bat. This includes a homer against a lefty. Why would you sit him tonight? I'm so confused!
  15. Let's hope Sheets can bring some Easter magic.
  16. Let's hope Clark and the rest of the bats wake up. Want to take this in order to have a chance at a 4-5 road trip.
  17. Lineups according to USA Today Milwaukee CF Clark SS Hardy RF Jenkins LF Lee 3b Hall 2b Weeks 1b Fielder c Miller p Capuano Mets SS Reyes c Lo Duca CF Beltran 1b Delgado 3b Wright RF Nady LF Diaz 2b Hernandez P Tom Glavine Line-ups
  18. I'm just hoping that the weather is not a problem. My son got his tonsils out Wednesday and I promised we would watch the game on TV tonight. Looking forward to watching them again.
  19. It seems that everyone is quick to get on Jenkins! Like End pointed out, he played against 2 tough lefties this week. He did make some contact today, but they had him shaded over in the infield and grounded out, twice I believe. Lets see where we are at the end of this week. The Brewers did put some good wood on the ball at times today. Tracy made 2 great plays at 3rd to rob hits and there were at least 3 long drives to the outfield that happend to be on a rope to the outfielder. They will fall and I have a feeling once the offense gets going it's going to be a fun ride for awhile. Actually in an ironic twist, watch them score about 10 for Sheets on Easter Sunday.
  20. Well, I was at the game and I can tell you that quite a few times they smoked the ball. They were just hitting them to someone. Those will start falling in soon. Part of me wouldnt be shocked to seem them have a reall good game against the Cardinals.
  21. According to Yahoo we have our first Moeller sighting. Today's Lineups Edit: Beat me to it.
  22. Daniel Cabrera of Baltimore walked 6 in the First against Boston. 4 runs on 1 hit. Ouch!
  23. Actually, I have heard Doug Melvin mention a few times that they were looking at him as a possible 5th starter this year or lefty out of the pen. However I agree that AAA is best for him right now as he needs to be starting and he can't do it for Milwaukee right now. [ I am a little worried by some performances, but it is still early enough that the pitchers are working on things. For me there performance starts to matter more after the day off on Monday. From there they have about 12 games left, so just over 2 times through the rotation and 2 weeks to the opener. Then I will start worrying if performances are still subpar.
  24. is anyone listening to the game? Edit - Nevermind, I see there is no streaming.
