chuckie beat me to it. No trades for relievers and Yo Gallardo, Mitch Stetter, Tim Dillard, Luis Pena, Randy Choate..etc..and even maybe maybe Derrick Turnbow will come in and pitch junk innings and keep the "important" relievers fresh. Some order of those guys will be able to come in and get outs at the MLB level even if not in high stress situations. That being said, I am impartial to a particular reliever and any quality reliever will do wonders for the bull pen, lefty or righty. Disclaimer** the Turnbow thing is to be taken with a grain of salt.

Next week the Brewers had better show the patience with Harden as they did with Lincecum. I know Lincecum was battling the flu and thus did not have his "A" stuff, but Harden's injury concerns are so widely known I can't see how attacking him early should even enter Yost's mind.

An odd superstition but i'm thinking some grilled cheese and tomato soup for supper. Yes, I am college aged so that is still an acceptable supper every now and then.

I don't think it is Gagne and Riske not being able to go 2 in a row. Mota was brought in when the Brewers were losing which unfortunately seems to be what Ned Yost and all 99% of the other managers think is the right thing to do. I may be mistaken but when you are losing isnt that when you try to maybe get an inning out of a Mota, or a Turnbow? It isnt like Mota has been terrible all year. I defended Gagne and I will defend Mota, until seasons end. I just have thick skin i guess not saying it is wrong to be hard on either player.

I hear you..Some guy came up to me in one of my classes and was like did you hear the Brewers signed CC. (This was the day after the fact, and not to mention that he didn't get "signed") People that know nothing of baseball know that this was a big big trade made and it is all over the place even in central Wisconsin.

What is the consensus that we prefer Marte over Durham...I think the Giants are going to be reluctant to give up anybody because sadly, they are still in the race..

The Umpiring Crew of Death umped the Brewers/Braves series last year... I youtubed bill s. going off in the broadcast booth over and over again. I thought "man this is unprofessional of Bill" but at the same time i was pretty ticked off too. Ever notice how mellow he is now about bad calls.

Prediction: Bush goes 7 innings giving up 3 ER with 6 strikeouts Solo Homeruns by Gabe Kapler and "coughing" Prince... Brewers manufacture runs more than usual and win 9-3
