We are in the second half of the season, how much longer are we supposed to wait for these results? It's not like games in September count double in the standings or anything. He needs to get his stuff together already. -
Not sure that today's outing is getting anyone off that ledge. It is not like the Twins are some offensive juggernaut.

I would love for the Brewers to find a way to keep Prince. I love watching him play, and I think he really enjoys being here. If we really have NO chance of keeping him, I would consider trading him at the deadline simply because a team like Milwaukee really can't afford to lose such a tremendous asset and get absolutely nothing back in return. If we could possibly swing him to Texas, who clearly has the money to sign him long term, for something like Moreland and Young, I'd have a hard time passing that up. Plug Moreland in at first and stick Young at shortstop. I know he may not be a fantastic defensive SS at this point, but it's not like Yuni is a gold glover, and Young has a MUCH better bat.

I don't live in Milwaukee anymore so I don't get all the local sports chatter and talk radio and so on, but is something wrong with Hawkins? The guy has an ERA under 1, yet I never see him pitch. Maybe I am missing something, but at this point I wonder if Roenicke would even notice if Hawkins didn't come to the ballpark.

That was one of the uglier defensive efforts I have ever seen, wow. This HR should buy Yuni more playing time though.

On the bright side, Greinke was starting tonight on my fantasy team. On the down side, so was Bumgarner.

Roenicke is pretty unimpressive. I hope he gets better, or smarter.

I really, really dislike Chris Narveson. Hopefully we can pull a Suppan on him, invent a convenient injury and shelve him for a couple weeks. Maybe list Narveson on the 15 day DL with a case of "Suck Arm" or something.

I have to imagine Attanasio has been watching games this week and wondering to himself how he can buy the Dodgers. Also, Braun looked as if he had committed himself to swinging at the first 3 pitches he saw, no matter where they were, just to get this over with.

I wouldn't say he has been very good for 4 seasons, 2 and a half seasons, yeah. He missed almost an entire year and last year from the all star break on his ERA was almost 6. Now this year, it is over 6. I understand that pitchers have slumps, but when your ace is posting a 6 ERA over his last 20 starts or so, it's something more than just bad luck or a slump, in my opinion.

I will not be surprised in the least to see Gallardo hit the 15 day DL tomorrow. Something is either physically wrong, or the guy is going the Manny Parra head case route, I hope it's just the former.

I have a bad feeling that Lawrie is going back. If we were willing to trade Lawrie, I would hope for a guy with more of a power arm and less of an injury history. Ugh.

It's nice to dream of the fantastic rotation we could have by moving Fielder and Braun for some quality arms. Unfortunately it won't take the sting out of the dozens of 2-1 and 2-0 losses we will suffer because of it. Move Fielder, keep Braun.
