  1. The wife and I have two beagles.... one J.J. and the other Braunie.
  2. Just looking for two tickets at or below face value (if somebody has season tickets and got them for below of course that'd be better!)... Two Brewer fans here want to go (so no worries about the wife being a Cub fan or any silliness like that!).
  3. I'm down in Racine but would be interested in playing.. I'm an OF/1B with some speed and gap power... LMK if you guys are still looking for folks or at least a semi regular.
  4. I am not sure he "could" take Suppan out "yet" before the 3rd guy got walked in... I mean, come on, Suppan is a vet and the starter.. there has to be a way he can throw a couple strikes!? Just not sure Macha made a bad choice here. But if Suppan's season keeps up like this, I think we will be able to make a decision on Macha's ways and means as to how he handles that...
  5. How many of you guys think that with Macha - the leash will be literally one more start like he had in SF or this evening? Is that realistic? I like how Macha has tried new things and been pretty good with the hook so far... but its a high priced vet. I personally want to throw up when Suppan does what he did tonight....
  6. Strongly considering attending this evening, want to surprise the wife with her first game of the year. Any help is welcome http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif.
  7. THANKS! This is awesome... my buddy and I were fired up about going next Tuesday with half price Lodge level, come to find this, and an amazing offer on field box row 13 seats.... um, this is a no brainer awesome thank you type of thing!
  8. Hey guys just curious if anyone has any last minute tickets available for tonight.... if so, hit me up http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif. GO BREWERS!
  9. Last night's game did have more electricity. I can speak for myself, its like I had a Brewer-hangover today... spent so much vocal support and excitement last night, I felt it hard to get going today, and thanks to Suppan, he kept it that way... way to keep a big crowd in it Soup. However, the article states it was not that loud.... this author must have had earplugs in and said it was loud but not that loud as I'm sure I had a headache after the first inning from the noise and me yelling so loud along with the section I was in.....
  10. Being from Racine and that being the place George Petak is from, I know all too well that swing in the vote. I remember late that night as a teenager staying up listening to 620 about the coverage, thought we'd wake up without a team... and to come to last night (today was great too, but not quite as great obviously) was so tremendous. It was so loud. So much fun. It was great harassing Pedro Feliz most the game and then see him hit into the double play. It was awesome how the place was so electric and so amazingly hanging on every pitch, it was what baseball was supposed to be. Proud to be a Brewer fan, we have won more games in our one postseason appearance this year vs the Cubs last three tries!!! 24 now, and hoping I dont have to wait another lifetime, but merely 12 months until the next one! Go BREWERS!
  11. Also looking for 2 tickets for game one in MKE anywhere ... please PM me if any available! http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
  12. Sveum has really grown on me in the last 12 games from "well, this is an interesting move, let's see" to, wow he is open and honest and has the trust of all his players.. he just keeps it real, hearing the post game interview on FSN was refreshing, the way he talks and interviews is so much different than ned and so much more welcome as a fan! A couple of his moves have been interesting (Hall #2, Cameron #1, etc) but I believe he's on to something with the openness he's had with his players and what he expects, also think he has handled the pitchers very well, you mess up, you are out.... you show the fire I want to see and convince me I'll give you a shot, that's how a manager should be.
  13. Watching Corey right now, I have no confidence in him, just like it looks like he has no confidence in himself.... it's like he is swinging at every pitch, and the pitchers keep throwing further and further out of the zone, and look amazed as he whiffs at a ball so far outside and low it looks like it'd hit a lefthander in the back... he needs to relax and get hot!!
  14. I think his performance today has helped his CY Young chances, but MVP is tough for a pitcher to win.... however, in the context of "meant most to his team" i think CC by far SHOULD run away, and has gotten lots of press.... so.. you just never know... I would love for it to happen but there is still too much bias towards major markets for that to happen to a Brewer...
  15. I think he is fat and useless still RURR... I just love him in a pure love-hate kind of way now...
  16. This was the most amazing day... ever. ever.
  17. This call was bone-chilling and every time i hear it get goosebumps - have been a brewers fan my whole life, going to games since about 1990, now only 24, but still know how much futility the brewers have seen, yet the calls from uke always are worthwhile, this may have been the most amazing one...... and shhh don't tell anyone but i have converted the HR call into an iphone ringtone, so every call i get i will hear it again http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
