    Muddies get another run. 6-0 in the 3rd. Just keep it going And Shuckers have won 3 in a row against 1st place Pensacola. They are now 18-13 after starting 1-7 this season. That is a 17-6 in the past 23 games, wow!

    Yeager get a K, grounder to short, and then pop to shallow right, and it's game 1 Shuckers.

    DeBerry threw a few more pitches in the 2nd inning, but strikes out the side. Nice. Yeager is back on for the 7th in Biloxi to try to close the game and try to take the opening game of the double header.

    Maciejewski not sharp in the 6th. One out, but 2 walks, and a fluke single (pop up to right foul grounder that the wind blew back into play last second that Spain could not get back to). Yeager is in to try to keep the Shuckers lead here. Looks like the Muddies chased the starter for Kannapolis.

    Not watching Carolina yet - but looks like a very efficient inning by DeBerry - 8 pitches, 0 walks, 0 hits, 0 K.

    Pratt draws the walk, and Wilken hits it to the deepest part of the field off the wall for an RBI double. Missed the wall by about a foot or two (6 inches per Javik) off the bat at 104 EV, 407 feet. That is 2 very well hit balls by Mr. Wilken. 4-1 Shuckers

    Pratt with a great play up the middle and solid throw to first, and helps Maciejewski get out of the 5th. It's Polish night so far for Biloxi pitching (Wichrowski 4IP, Maciejewski 1IP so far)

    Biloxi observations. First - great swings by Warren and Wilken. Both homer were deep to left center. Wichrowski - looks a little better, maybe a little more command compared to last year. consistently 93-94, but the gun did report 97 mph in the 4th once. Also the Shuckers ball/strikes on the screen is pretty off most of the night. Anyone else using the 5 highlighter trick that Javik Blake was talking about in his video on how he prepares? He must be doing it tonight, as he has gotten it wrong only twice by my count.

    Well considering the Cannon Ballers put in their 3rd baseman I think it was we had two games today and still need get through the weekend let’s save some arms. Just odd that 3rd basemen gets 4 outs against 6 or 7 hitters with eephus pitches and an occasional side arm, and Reyes gets only 1 batter out. Not sure why Langhorqne was getting ready earlier. Could’ve just let Reyes lose it and save the arm I don’t know

    So here’s an oddity. Carlolina and Kannapolis split the two games today both 5-4, so 9-9 runs and teams are 1-1 Nashville wins 4–0 and Wisconsin loses 8-4 so 8-I in terms of runs and 1-1 record ACL Brewers now hold tie breaker for W-L and run differential for the affiliates tonigth ok totally random as Brewers win 5-2.

    Walk off grounder. Lameda could not field it cleanly. Kannapolis scores. What a bad loss The losing pitcher is Reyes who,could not find a strike the winning pitcher was the starting 3rd baseman. I wonder how many position players wound up as a winning pitcher in a non extra innings game - as they usually pitch in blow outs (or extra inning games).

    Man Reyes cannot find the zone. I mean not close. 35 pitches and only 11 runs. Good news - no hits. Bad news only got one out. Awful news - and 2 runs on 6 walks. Lamghorne in now in a tied game. Still 0 outs

    25 pitches and only 8 strikes. Reyes is struggling if time. And a pitch clock violation. Bases loaded, no out, Kannapolis top hitters up and it’s 3-0 count. Reyes is not doing it tonight. Can’t find the zone. And he walks in the run. 28 pitches and only 8 strikes, ugh.

    Let’s put in a position player. Reyes had 9 pitches in the 7th and 8 balls. Two on, no out 4-2 lead. Reyes is not sharp. 20 pitches only 7 strikes. Yikes meanwhile TRats trying to rally. Wood 2-run double. 7-4 deficit

    Mikey Kane - position player pitching for Kannapolis. Eephus pitches. Bitonti with a solid grounder hit. DiTuri grounds out. Then Nadal swings and misses an eephus begore he pops out. Then Walling swings and misses three eephus pitches. Oh embarrassing. Now wait it’s a foul. He gets another chance but called strike 3. Top of zone if your head is the top of the zone. And walling is ejected. That’s crazy. Position player in a close game and gets 4 key outs. Oof

    Reyes induced a grounder to 2nd. Mudcats still up 4-2 on to the 7th and hopefully last inning. BUT Yerlin - 3 walks, 2 hits and a WP. And it’s a 7-4 deficit . 29 pitches and only 12 strikes.

    And the Yerlin and Reyes combo not working. Yerlin had given up 2 runs Reyes walks his batter and then a WP and it’s now only a 4-2 lead. Reyes has runners on 2nd/3rd. Ugh

    Yerlin in for the TRats. An out and a single. Trying to keep it a 2 run deficit. Hernandez gets an out ,and a slow roller up third and Nadal,can’t make the throw needed and it’s an infield single, then a K and then a walk and Hernandez is out. Looks like Reyes is in

    Ok. Old friend Morris Austin in for Kannapolis pitching against Carolina. Cats get the bases loaded and a 3 run double by Tyler Rodriguez Meanwhule in Peoria Hardin goes out for the 6th. And gets a quick out. Then a strike out, and a beautiful pitch on 2-2 count and Hardin and catcher start to walk away when they realize it’s not called a strike. Next pitch grounder for an out and it’s end of inning. Now he’s probably done after 6, right? Back in kannapolis and Austin Ks Made - his third K tonight And Austin is out and a position player is in to pitch in the 6th inning of a 3-1 game. Wow EDiT - sorry 4-1 game, mudacts lead

    Haven’t seen the other innings but Hardin getting hit in the 5th. Soft hit to left that becomes a double. Well struck ball to Burke and the out at first. Then a well struck single to center, then a ball hit hard to RF just shy of a HR and it’s a triple with the batter out at home. Then a very nice play be Areinamo at 3rd and it’s end of inning but 4-2 deficit now. Hardin may be done at 5 IP and 82 pitches

    And McGee gets the out. So 6.2 scoreless innings for Miz. Atta boy Jacob Hardin has a good if not great start for Wisconsin in Peoria. Tie game now 2-2
