  1. "Never gonna give you up Never gonna let you down Never gonna run around and dessert you Never gonna make you cry Never gonna say goodbye Never gonna tell a lie and hurt you"
  2. Better than no seats like the most of us...
  3. Our "Fan's Choice" also arrived on Saturday. I love that new ticket smell!
  4. What a rip off... I have been working up to a dog per inning when they do the $1 dog promotion at Miller Park! Another strike against 'em.
  5. How about if they work on real problems? This doesn't seem like one that exsits to the point of legislation. Maybe more port-o-poties so people are not peeing all over the place would make the place more "fan-friendly"?
  6. Here are some extra bobbles that have just been lying around and now its time to move 'em. Prices listed or make an offer. Would prefer to ship (not included in the prices listed), but if schedules allow pick-up in Milwaukee area could be worked out. All are the regular versions and come with original box. Opened only to check color, most have never been out of the plastic for close inspection. 2007 Chris Capuano (w/ticket) $10 2007 Harvey Kuenn $8 2008 Prince Fielder (w/ ticket) $15 2009 Ryan Braun $15 2009 Ryan Braun $15 2009 Jason Kendall $8 2009 Indians- Rick "Wild Thing" Vaughn $ Make offer $ 2008 Wild Card T-shirt size LARGE (seems to run very big) New with halo, by Majestic (as sold at Miller Park) $10
  7. Too bad I missed that one. That was the day of our wedding, I have a picture of my wife in her dress listening to the game on a hand-held radio before the wedding.
  8. If they want to sell tickets they will do at least one Brewer, just based on proximity to Milwaukee.
  9. I like our Santa Fe. Nice mid-sized vehicle. Rides higher than a car but not like a big SUV. Never intended to get this but stumbled into it. I fell in love with CarMax which is where we got it. A great selection (all makes/models), no haggle and nationwide inventory. This way you don't have to go to many different dealers.
  10. Almost any offer considered. Would like to see some other Brewers fans cheer their team on at the end. Its gonna be a long winter.
  11. I have some extra tickets that I am looking to get rid of. Let me know if you are interested. Numbers of tickets are listed in ( ). Wed. 9/23 (2) Sec 424 Row 21 (vs Cubs) $10/each I also have some Metavante passes if those are of interest. Trades might be considered. I will check here regularly or e-mail beno78@hotmail.com 414-416-7897 (Ben)
  12. Bingo. I have been to games that actually did mean something and it was a different story. Not just the frat boy types that were rude either. As with any crowd I am sure there are some good and some bad, the good were far and few between in my exerience. I was not wowed by the "mystique" either. Falling apart and dingy as I recall.
  13. The TV guys were talking about "deuces wild" just before that grandslam. They took a shot of the scoreboard... 2-2 count, 2 outs #22 at bat. Nice foreshadowing.
  14. It has been worth the costs for me. I have bought and sold and StubHub is getting money on both ends good for them, seems like a good business model. You are paying for convenience/ease (which it is) and protection form bogus tix (getting the exact seats you bought, FanProtect Guarantee). So if 15% from the seller and 10% from the buyer is what they need to keep this legit, it still seems like a pretty good deal to me.
  15. I think that will be on the calendar here too. Guessing it will be a harder ticket than usuall with the new stadium.
  16. Nice find. That lead to eatting only veggies?
  17. This is the crux of it. It could have the potential to be offensive/unsportsman if it was on the road or after a 10 run win etc. This was an exciting win at HOME for a team that has little left to hold on to this year. If they were to do it often it would get old, it was creative and amazing to watch live.
  18. Whatever pitcher we pick-up...
  19. Did not buy one year, but have in the past. IIRC you can see a list of the coupons on the website that you can buy them from. If you are going to eat a few meals and do some activities away from the hotel then it is probably worth it. If you are going to stay at the hotel the whole time then probably not. The Wilderness is nice and is spread out. You have to cover a lot of ground but there is also a lot do do with different pools etc. The "Wilderness on the Lake" is a little quieter and you still have access (via shuttle) to all the ameneties of the Wilderness.
  20. And you have to by the whole "combo meal" (ot dog, peanuts, Brewer Cookies and small soda) for just $4. You can not just by $1 hot dogs or $1 sodas, you get all 4 pieces for $4. It is actually a pretty good deal. And that is all that is sold at that part of the stand. As stated M-Th games and this is the only stand that does it. Worth the trip upstairs even if you are not sitting in Terrace!
  21. You also get better "ticket exchange" privilages with the 20-game pack. Which for someone out of town might be especially good. With 9-game you get 1 exchange (I believe), with 20 game you can exchange as many as you want (with some restrictions), even unused tickets from past games. Both have a small fee IIRC ($1/tic).
  22. For me it comes down to preference. Depends on if you want better seats (9-game pack or 20-game pre-picked plan) or flexibity to pick your games (fan's choice). As noted before you will get worse seats (as if there are bad seats @ MP) if you get the Fan's Choice 20-game pack, but you are gaining the flexability to get ALL of the games you want including marquee games at the same "season ticket hodler" price. A quick call to the Brewers office this morning revealed that for this season Field Infield Box tickets were $42/ticket for new season ticket holders. You would save $6/ticket for getting the 20-game plan (like getting 2.5 games free when you factor the savings for 20 games) plus you get FULL POST SEASON TICKET rights as a 20-game plan holder. If you are willing to commit to the 20 games over the 9-game pack there are lots of benefits. If you do not want to attend all or sell off extras then maybe it is not for you.
