  1. Now that patterson has left boras and is looking for a shot to play in the big leagues, he has said he is looking for a minor league contract with a invitation to big league camp. Do you think it would be worth the gamble to bring in Patterson? Would lose a lot of power, but could trade Cameron for pitching. Patterson is a career .253 hitter with speed and average defender. He did have a horrible year but by giving him a decent contract (Like a 1-year deal worth 750K with some incentives) I think it might be worth the gamble.
  2. I think the Brewers should make a play for him. He is a 24 year old switch hitting third baseman. He is a career .295 hitter in the minors and is an average defender, but also he is very versatile and can play second and corner outfield. http://www.thebaseballcub...yers/G/jesus-guzman.shtml
  3. could see the phils go after ray durham to fill in for that time
  4. I would only go after Coco if the brewers did not get CC and then trade Cameron to the yankees for some relief help or starter. then trade some youth and maybe bill hall as well for coco and buchholz, rumor has it that the sox want to get rid of some pitchers for masterson to become a starter.
  5. If the Yanks do get Peavy, do you think they would pull out of the CC sweepstakes? EDIT -- Subject
  6. I wouldn't mind taking the D-train, I think he just had a really difficult time in the AL. He was decent in AAA with 3-1 4.45 era, walks were a little high. I wouldn't mind giving up Sups and ozzie chavez for D-train and matt joyce or freddy guzman
  7. Randolph will be great for the Brewers, even though his team has choked the past two seasons he does have playoff experience and can relate to the players more.
  8. I really would like to see Perez on the Brewers. Would be very interesting and probably pretty cheap to get as well. Then can trade away Cam, if we don't re-sign CC (guess they are like a package deal, which is just a rumor) Maybe trade Cam to White Sox for Vazquez and either a prospect or reliever.
  9. Scott kazmir is far superior to oliver perez. Man boras does a little fabrication on his clients
  10. I really hope Tex doesn't go to the Yanks, I would like to see him stay with the Angels I think he fits better in that system then the Yankees. With the Angels he has speed in front of him to drive in runs and I believe at least a much better defense team behind him. Also the angels pitching stuff is far superior to that of the current yankees. He is more likely to get a ring with the Angels than the aging Yankees
