  1. The NY/LA refereeing is coming out now.
  2. The stupidist team in the NBA. I agree Chuck.
  3. Why no Blake Griffin in the second half?
  4. Connaughton is the ultimate glue guy.
  5. I am a big fan of Kelly and would hate to see him go. I had the same feelings with "Overeasy". Just substitute someone else in for Kelly and I like the deal.
  6. Anybody know what LB Campbell is like?
  7. Who cares what Cubs fans think?
  8. its not the same team as last year. the additions that they made have really helped. Holiday is a massive improvement over Bledsoe. Tucker is a decent improvement over Matthews. Portis and Forbes has been FA's that have exceeded all expectations. you are right, I am sure Giannis and the rest of the returning cast really took it personal, but Horst has adjusted the roster pretty well to overcome the bucks defencies. Another big factor is that the bucks learned that you don't need to exert so much energy in the regular season to get the best seed, but rather it make sense to save it for the playoffs. The bucks - nets series will be fun to watch. Holiday is a massive difference maker just in his ability to shoot a 3 ptr. Several times, the play went inside and Butler couldn't cheat and crash inside just because Holiday was standing at the 3 point line. The inside was much more open last night. I've not seen Tucker play much, but I'd think at best, he is a "wash" with Matthews. Matthews was huge defensively last year. But having Portis, Forbes, and Holiday being able to shot threes has helped in spades. The defense is also more diverse. Homer said there was more to prepare for, but I think they just have more options to matchup on the offense. They can play a few ways and aren't as predictable as before. The more you watch Tucker, the more you will love watching him play. He is a great defender, smart and intense. His basketball IQ is huge. He makes all of these great "little extra" plays. Different position, but he reminds me of the days of watching Sydney Moncrief.
  9. The Nets really only have one problem... you only get to put one basketball in the game at a time. Harden must be all distributor or they will not win it all, I don't know if he has the discipline to do that.
  10. I am not a big NFL financial person, so I made the trade money neutral.
  11. New Prediction... Packers trade Preston Smith, Adrian Amos, a WR not named Adams and Rodgers and a future 1st pick for Julio Jones. Aaron Rodgers is now happy and the Pack wins the next Super Bowl. The defense takes a little hit, but Gary steps up and Stokes helps offset some of the lose of Amos (I know it is CB vs Safety). We could throw in Jordan Love which would make Rodgers really happy, but I don't like the irony of trading an unproven QB back to the Falcons. Any takers?
  12. Why would they do this? Why not add other sports for women? Men’s sports being cut due to Title IX is a cop out. These schools like UW need to simply reallocate resources or raise more money to support greater opportunities for all genders. Because it would require the administration to invest in non-revenue generating sports, which they have shown, time and time again, they don't want to do. How about Women's Ping Pong....just kidding
  13. I agree with most everybody else. It is the only way both sides can get out of this without losing face. Personally, I have had enough of Rodgers. I don't care if they trade him other than I hope they get a boatload. I don't care if he retires. Then I won't have to listen to the whining. I don't think he will ever play on his current contract.
  14. I love two things about him 1. Basketball IQ. He make sour team soooooo much smarter in terms of playing the game the right way. That will wear off on the others. 2. Intensity. He plays so hard all the time. I guess that is somewhat like basketball IQ. When you see the old guy getting back on defense and making the extra effort, it also wears off on the other players. I hope they sign him for a two year deal at the end of the season.
  15. Pitching, pitching, pitching. Good pitching wins game over the long haul. Getting to the seventh inning without the bullpen is a huge key for any team. I hope the back end of the rotation can match the front end and continue to get us to the seventh inning. Knocking on wood.
  16. DJW and DJA for PJT, yes that is PJ Tucker. Another good 3 point shooter that plays great defense.
  17. Giannis on a triple double role, but bigger and better....he is making his free throws....knock on wood.
  18. Bears get Russell Wilson Seahawks get Nick Foles Kyle Fuller 2021 #1 2021 #3 2022 #1 2022 #2 Seems about right for what the Lions got for Matt Stafford. Plus it would really hurt the Bears 4-7 years into the future.
  19. I wouldn't trust that site too much. Neither Roger McCreary nor Zamir White nor Tyler Vrabel declared for the draft, and Ronnie Perkins will long gone by day 3. I think listed sources and I said "as a guide this is what I would do today March 1, 2021.", so it could be read for the inaccuracies that it had in it. FYI... there are no UW football players listed on that sight either. Thanks anyway for your feedback.
  20. Using https://www.lines.com/nfl/drafts/2021 and https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/draft/news/nfl-draft-2020-pick-trade-value-chart-creating-a-blueprint-for-draft-moves-by-using-past-trades/ as a guide this is what I would do today March 1, 2021. 1(30) Trade down to Denver get 2(41) and 3(73) 2 (41) Alex Leatherwood OT Alabama (From Denver) 2 (62) Rashod Bateman WR Minnesota 3 (65) Creed Humpfrey OC Oklahoma (Sign and Trade A Jones to Jacksonville) 3 (73) Roger McCreary CB Auburn (From Denver) 3 (94) Shawn Wade CB Ohio State 4 (126) Zamir White RB Georgia 4 (Comp) Kryisis Tonga DT BYU 5 (158) Buddy Johnson ILB Texas A&M 5 (Comp) Ronnie Perkins DE Oklahoma 6 (189) Tyler Vrabel OT Boston College 6 (Comp) Jordon Scott DT Oregon 7 (221) Elerson Smith OLB Northern Iowa
  21. Illinois did not have their best player play. Hard to be optimistic about this team.
  22. Atlanta Braves.....Omni at the Battery, right next to the stadium.
  23. He could make up the money easy with Wisconsin indorsements. Save big money at Menards.
  24. Make your free throws and play good defense. Male a few threes. If we are playing Michigan we are down 3 at the half.
