    With all the guys free this year, it isn't the best year for John FA...but I suppose its good for the Bucks. I'd love to see John back. If not...Joe Johnson is going to be out there.

    Macha seemed just as puzzled as the reporters as to why Hoffman hasn't been throwing his bread-and-butter changeup. "I asked (pitching coach) Rick (Peterson)," said Macha. "He said he hasn't really talked to Trevor about pitch selection." I found this in the JS...perhaps there will be a conversation today?

    This is a good point. If the 'Crew is going to re-up Prince, I'm guessing the odds are greater if they do so before these other guys sign. I wouldn't mind that 5/$125 deal...I'd think Prince would still be trade-able 2 years into it if the bottom falls out on the team.

    I'd guess at this point if the Mgmt team is going to find someplace that Jeff might still have value for this team, it's going to have to be far away from the starting rotation. Ken talks about how production will dictate opportunity; time to stand by that.

    I don't recall what Tom wrote about Mike. Refresh me? I've been under the impression that for the most part, the talent levels between AA and AAA have become small enough that it really isnt that much of a streach to skip a level. No question the 'Crew doesn't see Mike as a starter at this point, but if he does the job out of the pen I'd think he would still have a big league shot.

    ...46-36. Wow. What a neat year. We know there is a bit of a cloud now without Andrew but considering where this team was even two years ago. Been a really fun year to be a fan. Hope they can win one or two against the Hawks.

    I love Prince like everyone else, but I do not want to see the 'Crew commit to this kind of deal with him and then we have to watch Brady Clark and Dave Bell become his teammates.

    I'd think that if Prince is going to take a 5-6 year deal, it's going to cost closer to $25 mill per then $20 mill over 10 years.

    I drank a lot of Southern Comfort at one time...then I got a job. As for the CC...I go debt card all the way... And I'll never understand why the Scrubs gave up on Casey.

    ...its nice and green. Wish the wall was back a bit farther, but its Ok. Gorman's Grill is a neat place to hang out. Hard place to really enjoy the action...but its still Miller Park, so I'll take it.
