  1. To bad for NBC they couldn't keep this event going. Best thing they have done for ratings in a long time.
  2. It's important to be able to hold to conflicting thoughts in your mind at the same time and believe them both to be true...
  3. Well, other then the fact that Charlie can't shoot or get to the rim...I don't see any other reason to stop him from getting minutes.
  4. Jerry is just here to be the 7th or 8th guy and play in specific situations...or at least I hope. They do need another jump shooter (who would have ever thought the Bucks would be short a shooter). Yesterday's loss was a hard one. I really like Luke, but him shooting a 3 as your end-of-game option is sort of alarming.
  5. Ok, understood. I get what you are saying now. Agreed that Jarmusz plays to defend, but I'd rather see Wilson get more minutes too.
  6. I disagee a bit NDOG. Bo called quite a few sets when Harris and later Tucker were there. I'd expect a few will go in for the new backcourt now, too.
  7. The ownership group also has the Madison franchise. I understand from an insider that the Rapids team can be underwritten, if needed. The fact that the NWL went into Wilmar, Mn is a bit of a stunner.
  8. Corey came up short in some big spots the past two years (or at least the last part of 2008). That certainly works against his status with fans.
  9. I'd have taken Bert, Morris or Raines over Dawson...and I liked Dawson as a player and person.
  10. I was stunned when I heard 7 years. Wow. Good for Matt I guess.
  11. Just my opinion, but I consider Raines, Morris and Bert (in spite of his broadcast work) the best three on that list.
  12. Yep, the NBA is the worst. You would think they might even have a player they was involved in a gang-related shooting at their championship. Yea, then this player ends up being prasied as a great member of the Baltimore community...Sure glad the NFL doesn't have anything like that going on...
  13. I maintain he is still hurt.
  14. I saw a game at the Dome in '07 I believe where Jeff Cirillo got the only 2 hits Liriano gave up the entire game. He was throwing a screwball at about 92 MPH. It was crazy.
  15. Redd is playing like his legs are gone. To me, he also looks heavy. I still think he might have a role on some team if he can physically answer the call.
  16. I just got done re-reading all the Backman books by Steven King. Not to introduce politics, but I also just re-read a James Carville book.
  17. I'm with Craig on this one. If I only use cash, can't ever have issues with these CC clowns. That said, some of you sound like you have the right idea on how to use them. I did read someplace that a consumer protection group speculates that "people" spend about 30% more when using a card V cash...FWIT.
  18. It would be great for Milwaukee, but as stated, no sense in it for Houston.
  19. Jason would have been dumb to walk away from this. Seems like the Mets sort of bid against themselves and Bay got some serious coin. Chances are this is a once in a lifetime deal for him...and the Mets will still struggle.
  20. Logan, she will use that against you and should...
  21. God I hate that song.
  22. If what David Stern just said holds water and the NBA may have more of an interst in gambling on their games; Vegas is a logical choice. I'd love to be the owner that gets a team located there!
  23. I suppose Seattle or even San Diego could be options. If someone like Jordan got involved again even a move to Pleasent Prairie could be viable.
