If Vargas get cut and doesn't land a FA gig, I hope Nashville has room. I assume that Cappy will throw out of the pen first? If not would he piggy-back...Manny I suppose? Oh, and obviously I meant Vagas, PrinceEat...I'll disagree that Carlos is the best RH out of the pen. Ax and Coffey are "better" IMO.

The Rangers said they would not do it at the time because Lee was going to be a FA at the end of the year. They wanted Cruz as insurance if they couldn't re-sign Carlos. Guess they were correct. I didn't mind the trade @ the time and still understand it. Would be nice to have Cruz, but at the time it would have been pretty hard to guess he would do what he is doing.

Agreed on the comments on Davey, I wish that the powers that be would have used this opportunity to rotate thru some other talent. Years ago when Uke was doing TV, they brought in guys from around Wisconsin and had them team with Pat Hughes. It was pretty neat.

I'm sure it's just a mater of taste (well, I'm not sure of that but trying to be nice). I cannot stand Bret. He comes off (to me) as a smug, self-centerd tool.

The Twins TV team is equally as bad. I use to think Bert should be in the hall. After hearing him for years on TV, I actually root against his induction.

That's a good point. Ben knew he was hurt to some degree and he still turned down Arby. Granted he might not have assumed that he would sit a year, but shows that he wanted out.

Having Villy close is...not a good idea. It wasn't in 09 and maybe Ken will figure out it is not in 2010, either. -

I would guess that Butler to the 60-day would be easy enough. I'm assuming they are not ready to have Soup or Vargas walk the plank as of yet.
