Ersan is a great example of what a couple of years of experience can do for a kid. Best thing that ever happened for him and Milwaukee was 2-years in Turkey.
Used as option number #3, Redd could have a nice role on this team. Playing the weak-side wing off that high pick-and-roll or as a zone buster...if he chooses to accept it...
I'm stunned by how quick he is to the rim and can finish. I use to think Brandon reminded me of the left-handed Chris Paul. Now I think we might have Oscar 2.0. This is crazy.
I'll disagree. In most drafts you are better served to just take the best player on your board and go from there. That said, Joe really wasn't a reach at 8. Lopez would have been the only other guy there that I liked at the time.
For the most part, what I have been able to gather about the NBA draft is that many of the picks are of the high-risk high-reward nature. If Jennings holds up, the Bucks hit it pretty big.
What the heck were the Giants thinking with that contract? Wow. I'd assume it isn't possible for SF to trade Zito and send enough money along for any team (or most countries) to take on that debt-load.
My only real concern with this is DM has to come up with someone that is equal to Looper for about the same cash. That certainly can be done, but to me he is putting himself a bit behind the 8-ball in trying to replace Looper (I assume Suppon) and still build more depth then we had in '09.
I haven't seen the USFL one but really want too. Im old enough to have seen many of the games live and really, really enjoyed the monday night contest ESPN had. ABC did a decent job with it their games, too. I miss that league...
