  1. I assume that cream corn is what they will attempt to feed me in the rest home just before I 'check out.' I'm holding off eating that until then. In the interim, bring on the tacos.
  2. Saw 2.99/per Sunday afternoon. I guess economic collapse does have an upside.
  3. He is the worst first baseman i've ever seen, and he'll only get worse as he gets fatter. Extreme groundball pitchers should be avoided, imo, until the infield defense isn't atrocious. ...Joey Meyer aside, I assume?
  4. Good point made in going after Lowe early in the process, maybe before the market gets way (more) stupid.
  5. I wonder if JJ does get moved. High value now (saves $ in arby) and Escobar obviously has more years before FA.
  6. I wonder about a front office/ P.R. job for Paul?
  7. The only scenario I can come up with that allows CC to stay is if he gets a shorter deal, say the $130 over 4 that was mentioned so he gets the up front cash, but still has a chance to hit FA again at a relatively young age and has an opportunity to score another big-time contract. Also make moving him easier for the 'Crew, if needed. ...it would be odd if CC's last moments with Milwaukee ended with a PH appearance.
  8. I wonder if Dale stays either way? I'd like him to but I suppose that is up to the new manager.
  9. Fun season. Even with the ups and downs (maybe because of them), September and October baseball that actually counts for something is pretty cool. I could get use to this.
  10. I was sort of hoping that Nelson might PH for Hart in the 9th but didn't expect it.
  11. Happy and hoping to win one in Philly so there are 2 games @ Miller Park. To me, this is all gravy.
  12. Ditto. No more boos for him; ever.
  13. Been here since the '03 season. Can't believe how the time as gone by, how much the site has changed and how cool today is. Never thought we would get there...thanks to Brian et al, for their work (Mass Hass rules).
  14. I remember going to bed one night in 1995 thinking the Brewers were gone. I woke up to find out Petak changed his vote, and now 13 years later, here we are! Good point. I'm going to e-mail George tomorrow and thank him for being apart of this.
  15. Im partying it up with a Miller Lite and a cheese sandwich.
  16. All I know is I got tickets for today and it is going to be very sweet!
  17. I thought strikeout were irrelevant? I'm getting confused!
  18. It almost has a clinical feel to it now; how bad can it get and what could possibly happen next.
  19. Today has a 2003 field around here...Crazy what 2-weeks has done.
  20. Like FTJ, I'm in for the long haul too, but man...no one said the haul would be this long...
  21. Rock on, man!
  22. After all the years of meaningless games from like all-star break on, at least the past 2 seasons the game have had importance beyond the drive for win #68. Bitter as these have been...they are STILL in it!
  23. We are not allowed to PH for position players. I sort of lost in the chat room today. I cracked under the weight of being a Brewer Fan. I'm about ready for a re-eduaction camp and come out a hockey fan.
  24. Can Nelson play RF?
