  1. As Admiral Adama would say, "sometimes you gotta roll the hard six."
  2. I keep having this dream or vision; whatever it is...not real clear, but it does involve Farve and I can't figure out if he is playing for the Packers, if he is retired, is he playing for another team...I don't get it. I do know a tractor is highly featured.
  3. I agree witl Glenron. I know we have to give something of value, but really if the Indians are out of the race and CC is bent on FA, the asking price has to come down...unless the Indians want the picks. In effect this could be a trade of a prospect or two for CC+picks. How much value the sandwich picks are to the 'tribe seems to be a wildcard.
  4. ...well the NFL does let their 'normal' owners move teams around, so I guess they don't need renegade owners to do it. Houston, Cleveland, Rams and Raiders as examples. I'd think this point more to how stable MLB is, save the Expos being taken over by the league, teams just don't move.
  5. I know Seth might have been a bit lucky, or unlucky. Either way he did 'battle' and hung in there tonight. So, give him credit. Sure hope there is something to the 'dead arm' theory Bill was talking about in the pre-game and we see Seth work through it.
  6. I heard that interview too on WKTY in Lacrosse. Darin did imply that something was being discussed, or so he claimed to be privy to, but not necessarily pending.
  7. Tyler Houston Jr...shudder.
  8. There is a boy in my daughter's 1st-grade class that seems to have a nice OPS+ in t-ball. I'm hoping that his arm will catch up with his offensive skills, but he does have a nice command of the game. Also puts a serious hurt on ice cream. I'd think that he is already on Jack Z's radar.
  9. ...after reading this I see that I am clearly doing something wrong with my life.
  10. Can't blame him. But, part of the business. Just see how it plays out, but from the little I know RJ is a pretty good guy. When the Bucks start winning...that will help. Also, since Milwaukee wanted him; that is a nice stroke of the ego that a team comes after your talents.
  11. Rillo has a good point. I got every year to a couple of games there. It's Ok, but if that would be where you 'had to' go to see the 'Crew...it would be pretty hard to tolerate.
  12. I was @ Huberts too. Fun. Saturday's game was a good time. Obviously wins help!
  13. Will be there tonight to 'represent.' Hope to see some of you. Ill be the tall goofy looking guy swillin beer.
  14. His posse carries around these odd little red books. I don't get it.
  15. Sheets and his agent will do what they will; but I struggle with the concept that he 'owes' the Brewers a less-then market contract. He may choose to do sign for less, but it certainly isn't an obligation. Unless is agent is Master-P (who must have been in on the Braun negotiations)...I'd suspect Ben will go for the brass ring.
  16. If they go guard...Bayless would be my choice...I don't think DJ would be a bad pick. Might be high for #8. I like him better then Eric gorden, however. Just say no to Love.
  17. I'm not so sure on Sessions yet. He did a few things @ the close of last year, but most of those games had little, if any real value. He is the right 'type' of guy for this team...just not sure he is the PG for 81 games.
  18. True, Steve. I'm just not so sure with CV playing the 4. I guess we have seen worse options, but with RJ and Redd a defender is needed there...as well as a guy that can play w/o having to have the ball all the time. I suppose CV could play as the 6th man... I still see either Redd or Williams moving. Maybe not tonight, but by October. Not a fan of Love in this situation.
  19. I wonder if CV goes now? He can play the 4, but certainly doesn't seem to fit in the direction of this team.
  20. I say 2 out of three falls, pay-per-view. Cage and ladder match. Loser leaves town.
  21. Shaun should have been on the '02 'Crew team.
  22. some people here act like if we flip Sheets now we are going to get 3 Hall-of-Famers...if we get the 2 picks; for crying out loud they have value and Jack sort of drafts well... Again, if I'm the team trading for Ben, why am I going to unload 2 or 3 really top-shelf guys that I control for 6 years for a 3-month rental?
