Once the Bucks won the championship, I immediately thought to myself, "We're going to see Bucks, Brewers and Packers all win championships within a one year period." I feel it in my bones.
Wisdom reached on an infield single and advanced to second base on the throwing error by Peralta. He scored from second base on the ground rule double by Schwindel. Ah, thanks, I was following on Gameday and didn't see that.
Can someone explain advancing on ground rule double? Looks like Wisdom hit a ground rule double and the guy on first was allowed to score? I was at Saturday's game and I believe Avisail hit a ground rule double and Escobar was on first and was sent back to third...What's the rule?
The nightmare continues. I fear this could cost us the division if any more big names end up on the IL. We'll be alright. We're a resilient ballclub and better to get it over with now then late in the season. All these guys will be back in short order.
God, just years and years of Pittsburgh futility. There was a time maybe 4-5 years ago when it seemed they were on cusp but then they tanked. Terrible franchise.
