    You have to have known the answer to this before you finished typing the question. To answer you, yes the Brewers have a nack for finding new, interesting, and depressing ways to lose every week. Maybe that should be the marketing slogan for next season. "Come see your Crew lose in ways you never ever imagined!"

    If it is THE Charlie Greene that should bode well for our young catchers. He should be able to help the Cap'n and Salome out alot. As well as the other guys like VandenBerg. Nice to see them bring a former Brewer player back into the fold. Shows some loyalty. I like that. Maybe in ten years we can bring back Blanco to teach our kids some defense. He, like Greene, has made a career out of not being able to hit a damn thing but possessing an outstanding glove. I was wondering what you guys remember about Greene's game calling? How was he regarded? I would assume he was highly regarded.

    Considering the dearth of Latin American prospects the Brewers have had, I think going for quality over quantity is a good idea to try.

    Yeah but Serpentor was much more effective than Cobra Commander. Serpentor's plots often took two episodes and one movie for the Joe's to foil, unlike CC's one episode to foil. Plus I had his action figure. It was pretty cool. Rafael Mercedes sounds like he could be a pretty good signing. Can't wait to see how he does with us next year.

    Dodgerblues "fans" are like all good villians. They announce their plans to the heroes (us) ahead of time. Just in time for their nefarious and stupid plan to be thwarted. Those guys really aren't very bright. If they were any smarter they might actually figure out that cheaters never win. They have no sense of honor.

    Over at the fansite contest forum they are whinning that it wasn't them that cheated, it was us. And then the admin pointed out that they are the ones that sent the bogus votes. Not us. They are nothing but sad, pathetic, people.

    Remember this time two years ago Rickie Weeks was considered the favorite to go number 1 overall. He didn't. While it certainly looks like Justin Upton is the choice right now, there is still a possibility that someone else could step up. Of course Upton could also be the guy to step up and have a prolific season the likes of which haven't been seen before.

    I have to agree with you Brian and your desicion to pull out. Those guys were disrespectful jerks. It is quite telling that they had to cheat to even pull close to us. After looking at their site, I have my doubts as to whether it really was a joke... On, the other hand, the Tigers', Bengals' and other sites' fans were respectful and honest as were we. I appreciate that.
