  1. Fair or not, I'll never be able to take chef Jerry Garcia seriously again. Ever. I'm cooking alot more lately and I'm absorbing as much culinary info as I can, but I stopped taking Jerry Garcia seriously when he suggested escargot and lobster for tailgating or when hes suggested to try "making" brats on the grill. Thanks Jerry, I didnt realize you could put brats on the grill and put them on a bun and serve with my favorite condiments. I had no idea. Sorry for the threadjack/venting....Jerry Garcia irks me. I don't like ads for strip clubs. Not sure if any are airing in Milwaukee, but I've heard them on sports talk radio elsewhere. I don't mind them personally, but when they are played when teenagers and younger are listening to the radio, I question that call. How people can play those ads and then wonder why kids are doing adult things earlier and earlier is beyond me
  2. For the first time since my breakup from my fiancee, I finally have a real relationship again. I'm smiling like a geeky high schooler again
  3. You know it's bad when Jim Powell - who seems reasonably gentlemanly to me - only refers to him as Meltdown Bradley. Well, that's a play I'll definitely have to check on the replay (assuming there is one tonight). To make matters worse, Bradley after getting on base the next inning, called time out and then proceeded to run off the field and took himself out for no apparent reason. Brian and Rock and still ripping MB a new one.
  4. You know its bad when even our announcers make fun of Bradley
  5. That is one thing that I have to say for the Brewers, is that they dont make too many plays where their head isnt in it....ala Soto's "error" or ARams error
  6. The way those flags are blowing, it looks like it would take a mighty Prince hack to get the ball out
  7. As much as I dont like Vargas, I have to give credit where credit is due. I salute you
  8. Went to a long chess match and a 7th inning broke out...... I'm glad I can breathe again
  9. Way to Go McGehee, and catch on fire right when I sit you in Fantasy Baseball. Seriously though its good to see a lead in the 5th inning in an afternoon game.
  10. I spent the first 4 innings engrossed in a Fantasy Football Life Draft while having the Brewers play in the background. Now that I'm done, I'm having a difficult time focusing back on the Brewers. It seems if the Cards touch the ball, it is a hit.
  11. Prince was ineligible for a 1st inning 3-run shot so Casey had to step in....Great job to give Looper a lead before he pitches. Can't say, though, I completely understand JJ in the lineup, but I don't know all the details either
  12. Prince almost with 3 consecutive 1st inning homeruns
  13. Nice Blast by Cam. I think he's trying to cheer the brewers and brewer fans by trying to be a 3T0 lately
  14. Maybe we should have Hoffman to follow our starters... I'm not sure if that should be blue or not.
  15. Nope.....I laughed out loud as well. And I thought lobster at a tailgate was a little over-doing it!Come on people, don't you make escargot and lobster at MP. I shouldn't talk too much, at my sister's B-Day game, people brought rather expensive wine and crystal glasses for the pregame celebration. Note: I stuck with beer; not that there's anything wrong with wine. Bushie was sooo close to making it out the 5th unscathed. Darn
  16. EDIT: I need to pay more attention to the game. Batting around in the first is definitely a good thing. Lets keep it up.
  17. Yea, that was me. I guess I was used to all the times we were down, you always started the rally caps. Maybe I'm the one that should call for them, heh. Good effort by the Brew Crew last night. One thing I have to say is that the Brewers (usually) don't roll over and lose. They keep fighting. That goes a long way for a ball club.
  18. An 8.31 ERA and 5 walks to 1 strikeout is actually pretty horrendous. Not giving up lethal bombs and not digging us into a huge hole is not horrendous to me (4-13 for the reds RISP, I believe) albeit the tremendous amount of walks is pretty bad. EDIT: apparently I forgot the last part the sentence
  19. Great recovery to get out of the inning, although I almost feel that we got 2 lucky breaks on that DP
  20. Braun certainly had a beef with that call. I'm guessing Bourgeois will have to come in to play LF now
  21. Congrats Escobar on his first Major League Home Run!!!
  22. All we need now is a Rodgers to Driver TD... It is the Natinals pitching after all, all hope is most certainly not lost
